My, oh my, how time has flown by since I last donned my pink tutu and stepped aboard the time-traveling express to this charming little pocket of history. But, before I share all the wondrous tutu tales of yesteryear, allow me to confess that today is a rather special day, indeed. You see, 24th September 1963 was the day of "The Nutcracker" at the New York City Ballet! Oh, how I would have loved to be transported to the shimmering grand halls of the Lincoln Center to witness this ballet classic firsthand. Even though I couldn't attend in person, just the mere fact that The Nutcracker was performed on this date sends me into a whirl of pure tutu-tastic delight!
