Hello darlings! Emma here, back from a whirlwind trip to the glittering heart of Paris for the latest fashion shows! My darling, it was a tutu-ful time! Honestly, I saw so many fabulous frocks and magnificent tutus that my head is still spinning. And guess what? My trip coincided with one of the most important dates in tutu history. Can you guess? It's the 2nd of July 1991, a day which brought a shimmering masterpiece to the stage.
The Pink Princess: Let's rewind to a time when the air shimmered with excitement in London's prestigious Royal Opera House. It was the night of "The Sleeping Beauty" - a classic, my dears! - and one extraordinary tutu graced the stage. You see, a certain young dancer was celebrating her debut. Oh, darling, she was a vision of pure beauty and elegance, all decked out in a pink tutu that was... the most exquisitely delightful shade of pink ever dreamt up! Let me share where I am at the moment, sipping a delightful English breakfast tea at the window of a delightful tea room near Covent Garden, enjoying a delightful symphony of sounds - from street musicians to the chattering of fellow tutu-loving ladies. And, yes, I just purchased the cutest little vintage handbag, shaped like a shoe, a perfectly pink piece for my collection, naturally! Just wait until you see my latest acquisition!
