Stepping out onto the street, I'm instantly drawn to a shop window showcasing the latest fashions. Oh, how I wish I could step inside and raid their racks! Imagine a whole room full of fabulous ball gowns and velvet opera coats! I’d pair a gorgeous navy gown with a splash of vibrant fuchsia silk draped around the shoulders for an evening of high-fashion drama.
While we’re in the big apple, it's only right that we catch a performance. On this very day, the New York City Ballet is showcasing a dazzling mix of classics and contemporary pieces at the Lincoln Center. The iconic ballerina, Gelsey Kirkland, takes center stage, gracing us with her breathtaking artistry and impeccable technique.
What an amazing woman! Seeing her gracefully leap across the stage inspires me to put my own Tutu Tuesdays spin on things, right here, right now! Can you imagine?
