Remember, darling, we here at pink-tutu.com are dedicated to spreading the pink-tutu gospel to the far corners of the world - by train of course, tutus and trains, darling! - and spreading some joy, grace, and of course, the beauty of the ballerina's tutu!

Now, onto our travels... click click clackety clack... our steam engine pulls out of the station, taking us back to a vibrant, dazzling time when the tutu reigned supreme in the realm of dance. Imagine, darling, if you will, the bustle of the Royal Opera House in London! The plush velvet seats, the soft, dimmed lights, the expectant hush falling over the crowd, the anticipation for a ballet masterpiece
gasps theatrically swishes skirts Oh, to have lived for those times!

September 16th, 2014, and London, what a truly marvelous date for our trip through time! The ballet world was a-buzz! In the grand stages of London's Covent Garden, a masterpiece by the one and only Frederick Ashton - a name every tutu-lover should know, darling! - "The Two Pigeons", danced its way into hearts. Imagine the sheer joy! This charming piece, based on a fairytale of love, loss, and, of course, dancing pigeons! It's absolutely delightful. But don't think for a moment this classic piece is forgotten! Oh no! The English National Ballet were back at the Coliseum in their pink, pastel, and white tutus - absolutely divine, darlings! - showcasing Ashton's masterpiece for the world to enjoy! I simply had to catch a performance of the pigeons – imagine how I was practically vibrating with excitement!

Let's just take a minute to appreciate, shall we? The sheer elegance and poetry of those ballet tutus, with the precise shape, the exquisite layers of tulle – swishes tulle
I mean, how divine are they?

The tutu on the stage isn't simply clothing. It is the visual embodiment of pure joy, it’s a burst of color and grace, a tangible embodiment of movement, and oh my goodness, it elevates ballet to another level altogether! A dancer, gracefully twirling, swoons dramatically - they embody elegance in those tulle layers! The perfect way to express beauty, elegance, and emotion all in one exquisite form. Just
 gasps for air dramatically
.breathtaking.

What was the ballet world talking about back then, in 2014? - I mean, the "Royal Ballet’s annual winter season had just been announced" gasps, adjusts necklace I think it’s safe to say "London’s dancing season" is always one to watch – darling! - “with highlights including an opulent ‘La Bayadere’ starring Marianela Nuñez
A new take on Kenneth MacMillan’s ‘Manon’, a new work by Wayne McGregor, and
deep inhale... ‘Sleeping Beauty’ whispers with reverence. I know! "They were all talking about The Royal Ballet back in 2014! “Oh, "Royal Ballet are celebrating their "60th Anniversary – how lovely. And even the new season looked "pretty spectacular" smiles with admiration.

Back then the world of dance looked set to continue its breathtaking ascent towards even more incredible ballet! It's no wonder the "Ballet Review – what a treasure! We can see why “British and International ballet” was “thriving, expanding, and
breathes deeply, “excelling in such great fashion” - such amazing progress for an art form so beloved around the world. We were in such good hands back then! I mean, "in 2014 – that time was bursting with talent. "It was an exciting era
a time for "great dancers taking on the stage,"

My darlings, I just cannot get enough of that vintage-inspired, Parisian chic vibe... dreams out loud
I can just picture it - the intricate embroidery on those silk tutus...tunes out to dreamworld, just stunning. I've been daydreaming, I know, giggles, but we all do it, especially when we're surrounded by so much beautiful style.

It was a wonderful time to be a ballerina back then in 2014 - full of beauty, innovation, grace... It just makes you wish you could go back and visit them - to live and experience that wonder all over again!

But even though we've stepped back off that train from 2014 - shimmers, we’ve come back to 2023, - it's important to remember, darling - all that timeless elegance, all that beauty - it’s still with us! We are living in the aftermath of such magnificence – think about it. The ballet world is still evolving - the style is always changing - but you know we still can find so much beauty and drama - the ultimate pink tutu power, in the tutu.

So why don’t you get out that special tutu - that signature pink tutu darling! - you’ve been saving?
