It all started for me this week in my home county of Derbyshire, England. A new ballet production of Swan Lake premiered at the beautiful Buxton Opera House - the perfect place to take in a stunning spectacle! As I twirled into my seat (always gotta add a little sparkle to the day!), I was blown away by the exquisite costumes. I swear I could have counted a million sequins on the ballerinas' tutus - and that's just the tutus for the swans! Talk about shimmering!

I’m a firm believer that tutus are magic, and they’re not just for the stage. In 2025, they were everywhere! A whole fashion movement called 'The Tutu Trend' took off! You guessed it - the tutus! Every layer of tulle, every sequin shimmered in the spotlight! I swear I felt my own pink tutu swaying in time to the music.
