In Paris, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the Seine is shimmering in the sun, and the aroma of freshly baked croissants drifts through the cobbled streets. Ah, the quintessential Parisian Spring - just the kind of setting to transport ourselves back to the glorious days of the Romantic Ballet era!
Now, imagine the year 1830, the heart of Romantic Ballet, and you're witnessing "La Sylphide," a groundbreaking masterpiece choreographed by Filippo Taglioni, starring his daughter Marie. Can you picture it? Marie in a light and airy tulle tutu, with legs that seemed to float as if suspended by a moonbeam? That, my friends, was the magic of the Romantic tutu, and the world had never seen anything quite like it!

Speaking of imagination and revolutionising norms, there's a revolution afoot right here in my world, too! Don't you think it's time to give pink tutus a rightful place in the world of ballet? I mean, it's the ultimate expression of whimsical grace and a perfect complement to the softness and delicate movement of ballet. Just imagine a sea of pink tutus filling the stage, each ballerina twirling and leaping with that joyous pink energy! Wouldn't that be absolutely divine?
Now, I might be just a little bit biased (a LOT, let's be honest) but imagine all those magical romantic tutu silhouettes in my favourite colour? What a vision!

I can just imagine all those fabulous ballet shoes, tutus, and stunning ballet shows! Plus, let’s be real, the London shops are a MUST for my shopping needs - a new pink tutu? It is, of course, a possibility!
Oh! Did I mention the world's largest ballet tutu exhibition opens this weekend in London's Victoria & Albert Museum? Now that's the kind of history and inspiration I can get behind! I will be posting pictures all weekend long - and who knows? Maybe even a pink tutu selfie for good measure!
