Aberdeen Calling: TutuQueen Takes on the Granite City! πβ¨
Hello, darlings! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and this is post number 23 for you lovelies! π
The air is nippy this week, a chill even Pink Tutu Sparkles can't escape. But my goodness, I've landed in Aberdeen! My train journey was a bit of a whirlwind β imagine this: a pink-clad TutuQueen amidst all those serious faces, the carriage a symphony of quiet, and then me - breaking out my trusty pocket-mirror to ensure my mascara wasn't melting in the sunshine! βοΈ It takes a real star to pull off fabulousness even in the face of such solemn surroundings! π
Speaking of solemn, I actually felt quite contemplative as the train sped through the rolling green countryside. I mean, imagine it! Here I am, your favourite Pink Tutu Queen, jet-setting to the Granite City to grace its stage! You see, darlings, the life of a TutuQueen isn't always sparkles and champagne (although it is very much those things, too!). There's the long hours of practice, the careful crafting of costumes (one never wears the same outfit twice, unless it's for a themed night β stay tuned for my "All That Glitters" extravaganza later this month!).
But seriously, folks, my journey here began way back in the quaint countryside of Derbyshire. Back then, I was just Alex, a humble student pursuing a degree in... well, let's just say a degree with lots of white lab coats! π§ͺ However, beneath the microscope, I harbored a hidden passion: ballet. My days were spent dissecting molecules, but my nights were spent in a dance studio, swirling and pirouette-ing in a sea of other budding ballerinas! (Now, I know what you're thinking... wouldn't it have been grander to major in ballet?! Perhaps, but a labcoat can be quite the alluring costume in the right light!). π
Speaking of costumes, I distinctly remember my first ever tutu experience! It was for a charity event, and they convinced me to try one on. Let me tell you, darlings, that pink tulle transformed my entire world. My love for ballet was no secret, but that pink tutu... it ignited something deeper within. It whispered tales of fabulousness, of sparkle, and most importantly, it told me I could be whoever I wanted to be! β¨ That was the day I became Pink Tutu Sparkles.
Of course, like all TutuQueens, I believe in sharing this love. This isn't just a fashion choice; it's a philosophy, darlings. A Pink Tutu is more than fabric β it's about embracing your individuality, letting your inner sparkle shine, and spreading joy wherever you go! π After all, there's no wrong way to wear a pink tutu β unless you're not wearing one at all! π
Now, Aberdeen... you ready for some fabulousness? My suitcase is packed, my sparkly platform boots are polished, and my tutu is ready to twirl. Let the show begin! π π
Aberdeen, meet Pink Tutu Sparkles! π
