Stevenage Sparkle: Pink Tutu Sparkles’ #64
Helloooo darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to tell you all about my recent adventure to Stevenage! Yes, you read that right - Stevenage. This fabulous town nestled in the heart of Hertfordshire was the perfect destination for a Queen on the go, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
It all started, as it often does, with a fabulous opportunity. Now, you all know I live for travel, and my love for the train means I can easily get to just about anywhere! A kind lady from Stevenage had contacted me on social media, needing a bit of sparkly fabulousness to brighten up a local event. The minute she told me it involved children, dancing and pink - well, my schedule was immediately cleared and my pink-sequined suitcase packed.
Now, the journey to Stevenage is always a little bit of a trek, but trust me, the moment I step onto the train and the announcement chimes in with, "Next Stop... [Insert excitingly different place]," it's time for the transformation to begin. I whip out my phone, grab a quick snap, and make a little movie of me getting into my glitter and glow. The rest of the journey, as they say, is history.
I must say, arriving at the venue in Stevenage and seeing so many excited faces made it all worthwhile! This time, my sparkly mission was to be a "Queen in Wonderland". You wouldn't believe the incredible costumes and magical props they had - and all in beautiful, luscious pink, naturally.
Speaking of pink, my pink tutu, darling! The feather boa, sequined hat, sparkling platform boots – you name it, they were all there. It's funny, because a lot of people don’t realise that the more bling I wear, the more comfortable I actually feel. It’s like being wrapped up in a big, fabulous hug, and the bigger the sequins and the taller the feathers, the better I feel, and the more energy I get!
I have to say, these kids were an absolute delight. They all wore cute costumes too! For a good two hours I danced, played, told stories, and even taught them a few of my fabulous moves! I think the most beautiful part was watching their eyes light up when they realised I wasn’t scary - just a fun, glittery lady who wants everyone to embrace their inner Sparkle. And they really got into it - I saw more than one little one strutting around with a pink feather boa and a confident smile on their face!
Later on that day, after I had finished making everyone sparkle, we popped into the town centre. I absolutely loved the vibe! So much energy! I even treated myself to some adorable pink sunglasses (naturally!). They were just so… fabulous! The colours, the textures, the gorgeous independent shops… Stevenage really is a lovely town. And all of you should visit soon and tell them the Pink Tutu Sparkle Queen sent you!
You know, it really warms my heart to know that, just a bit of glitz, glam, and my love of tutus, can make people happy. Even more than that, it really brings communities together. That’s something I think we should all strive to do. It makes the world a more magical place. Now, how can we spread the pink tutu magic even more, darling?
Anyway, that’s all for today, darlings. Pink Tutu Sparkle’s off to go find a little shop selling pink ballet slippers (just for good measure) to celebrate this wonderful adventure! Until next time!
