As you know, my dear followers, I love to travel. Trains, horses, buses… anything that can take me to new adventures, you’ll find me there, wearing my pinkest tutu! Littlehampton was calling my name this week, so off I popped, my trusty pink case overflowing with feather boas and enough sequins to rival a disco ball.
This trip has been a whirlwind, darling! You know me, always searching for new adventures and ways to spread the joy of pink tutus! First up, I indulged in a delightful ballet performance at the local theatre, ‘Littlehampton on Stage'. Now, I can’t deny, these folks were talented – each graceful move was a joy to watch. They weren’t quite my usual style (you know, I prefer the vibrant and theatrical flair), but there’s no denying the dedication and hard work these performers poured into their art. 💖 Of course, I wore a sparkling, rose-pink tutu with feathers to celebrate! Can’t go to a ballet without being on-theme, darling. 😉
Now, the heart of my Littlehampton experience was, of course, sharing my passion with the local community! I set up shop outside the lovely ‘Pink Parlour’, a quaint little café that instantly charmed me. My performance? Absolutely fab, if I do say so myself. It was a blast of glitter, sequins, and pink power – and believe me, the audience loved it! They even asked for an encore! My favourite part of the show was definitely the crowd’s response. I had a lovely little girl come up to me afterwards, shyly holding a pink bow, and tell me she wanted to wear a tutu too! Seeing those sparkling eyes and contagious excitement for my brand of glitter magic truly fills my heart with joy. 🌈 You know, the magic of a pink tutu knows no boundaries!
In between dazzling the crowds, I managed to find some time for a bit of shopping! Oh, my love for clothes shopping knows no bounds! Let's be honest, I can't pass up a good bargain and, darling, Littlehampton certainly had a few! First stop, a fabulous vintage shop – just bursting with retro delights. And, guess what? I managed to score a truly stunning, blush pink sequined skirt. She was a total steal! Can’t wait to pair her with my signature pink tutu, and you just know it’s going to be amazing!✨

And where did this passion for pink tutus stem from? Well, let me tell you a story. I was a shy university student studying for a science degree (talk about an awkward fit!). There I was, just trying to figure out life, and then - there she was. My first pink tutu, hanging on a rack, just waiting to be discovered! I was helping raise funds for charity by taking part in a university ballet performance, and, being the goofball that I am, I thought “Why not?!” It was love at first twirl. 💃
That night, my heart discovered a new kind of rhythm, a new form of expression – it wasn’t just a tutu, it was an invitation to a world of joy, laughter, and sparkly possibilities! 💫 And as they say, the rest is history.
These days, you’ll find me sharing that joy with the world. From town halls to tea shops, I'm a purveyor of good cheer, reminding everyone that we can all twirl a little brighter, even in a world full of darkness! 😉 But even with all the glitter and sparkle, I remain true to myself. I may wear pink and love tutus, but underneath the sequins, I’m a dedicated scientist who loves sharing her love for science, life, and above all, the power of joy!

Mixing Fabrics & textures: Who says pink can’t have texture? From sequins to lace to silky materials - it’s about layering up different textures. And when you get it right, that mixture really comes to life, in the light, as the fabrics dance together!
