A Travel Tale, Told With Glitter! ✨
This trip had all the ingredients for a perfect pink-tutu escapade: a seaside train journey (first class, naturally!), the gentle rumble of the engine, the swoosh of the sea wind, and of course, me, resplendent in a magnificent blush pink tulle number. A little secret? It was hand-crafted from vintage lace and feather boas, with a delicate bow tied to the waistband for that extra bit of oomph. My favourite part? It had pockets for a hidden pack of sparkly lip gloss, perfect for those impromptu lip colour updates during the trip.

The first order of business, naturally, was a spot of seaside shopping. And I was so happy to discover a charming little vintage shop tucked away in the heart of the town! They had everything a glamorous girl could dream of: from exquisite hats that practically begged me to be paired with a fabulous feather boa, to vintage costume jewellery, guaranteed to make your eyes sparkle brighter than the sun. I even snagged a couple of kitsch 80s-style sunglasses with glittery frames to give my outfit that extra je ne sais quoi (you know, that French phrase, “I don’t know what”, I’m trying to sound more cultured) 😜
On the Beach and the Iron Men! 👨🎤
Once I had my wardrobe all prepped, it was time to explore the famous Crosby Iron Men! It’s one thing to see pictures, darlings, but to stand there amidst them, listening to the waves crashing and feeling the wind whipping my tutu, well, that’s something else entirely! There's an ethereal, almost mystical quality to those sculptures – like they’re sentinels watching over the shore.

Later that evening, I performed at a small theatre in the heart of Crosby, where I put on a show fit for a tutu-wearing queen! 👑 You see, dear readers, it's not just about wearing a tutu for me; it's about celebrating femininity and fun in all its glory.
My performance was a joyous medley of pop anthems, classical ballet inspired choreography, and a few original songs that I penned myself!
