Hello my darling darlings, and welcome back to www.pink-tutu.com! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, and this week, I've traded the hustle and bustle of London for the breezy seaside charm of Weston-super-Mare.
Now, you all know my life is a whirlwind of tutus, sequins, and theatrical escapades, right? Well, picture this: me, a shimmering pink tutu, a head full of rainbow curls, and the salty tang of sea air on my cheeks! It's pretty magical, wouldn't you say?
This little trip is a little different from usual. I've traded my sparkly high heels for sturdy, sea-friendly flats and swapped the neon glow of a theatre for the twinkling lights of the pier.
But let me tell you, darlings, the seafront is the perfect backdrop for a bit of pink tutu magic! I was channeling pure seaside glamour in a flowing tulle confection that caught the wind like a shimmering sea wave. And the colour? Oh darling, it was the perfect shade of bubblegum pink to blend in with the setting sun - it practically glowed in the evening light!
Before I even hit the promenade, the locals were stopping me for selfies, giggling and cheering! I even saw a few little ones with pink tutus, oh the joy! They were all sporting them with such confidence, and it just filled my heart with sparkle.
We all need a bit of magic, and a little pink tutu goes a long way, wouldn't you agree?
The Seaside Stroll & a Performance You Won't Forget!
Speaking of magic, you know me, I always like to bring my unique brand of entertainment to any destination I visit. And this trip was no different.
I had a rather impromptu performance right on the pier. Imagine, me, perched on the edge of the old arcade, my voice echoing off the waves, my signature glitter-bomb confetti raining down on the captivated crowd. It was exhilarating, darling! They loved the old-school glamour, and I couldn't help but soak it all in, from the excited laughter of the children to the bewildered faces of some of the older gentlemen!
The highlight, of course, was the grand finale: a dramatic pirouette, sending the whole pier glittering in my rainbow wake. My TutuTwirling was, as ever, top-notch and truly made my day, darling!
Ballet Under the Sun and More Tutu Treasures
Who knew seaside towns could be such havens for tutus? Turns out, Weston-super-Mare has a beautiful little ballet studio that caught my eye, and naturally, I just had to waltz in! I felt like a young princess from a storybook, spinning and leaping in their grand studio. I'm even planning a proper class next time I'm here - I'm itching to practice some fancy footwork by the sea!
I've been exploring the shops in town too. Found a delightful vintage shop overflowing with sparkling gems. It's impossible to resist, really. Now I've got the perfect addition to my wardrobe - a vintage silver brooch adorned with dancing ladies and swirling silk! Just perfect for adding some classic glam to my tutus.
Dinner by the Sea, and Pink Tutu Dreaming!
I've indulged in all the delights that this seaside town offers - fresh seafood and a pint of something delicious. The perfect setting for catching up on some well-deserved rest, surrounded by the sea air, and indulging in some Pink Tutu Dreaming.
I'm picturing my next grand tutu adventure. Maybe it'll be a whirlwind trip to Edinburgh, perhaps a whimsical jaunt to the Isle of Wight. Wherever I find myself, one thing is certain: I'll be spreading my Pink Tutu magic and sharing some glittery smiles with every person I meet.
