This time I’m headed to the charming little town of Bishops Stortford, just outside of London. And, of course, I’m taking the scenic route! Imagine me, gliding across the English countryside on a glistening horse carriage, a glorious pink tutu billowing in the wind! Oh, to dream! But in reality, I opted for a train ride this time – still plenty glamorous, with my custom-designed luggage bag and sparkly handbag! 😉
Speaking of sparkly…did I tell you about my new shoes?! They’re these stunning fuchsia ballet pumps, absolutely perfect for waltzing through any city! The whole train carriage was in awe of them, I swear, with whispers of “She’s certainly got style!” Who says travel needs to be mundane? 💅
Now, you know me and my love for a good theatre performance. So when I discovered Bishops Stortford had its very own ballet company, well, I practically sparkled with excitement! I’m dying to catch their rendition of "Swan Lake" and see how they incorporate my favorite color, pink, into their costumes. Imagine, delicate tulle fluttering, ethereal movements, and maybe even a touch of glitter! ✨ It'll be divine.
This whole trip is about embracing the unexpected, don’t you think? Bishops Stortford itself is a delightful mix of historical charm and modern bustle. Cobblestone streets, quaint tea shops, and enough vintage stores to make even the most hardcore shopaholic (that's me!) go weak at the knees. And I hear the local markets are a real gem, I might just find the perfect pink-hued handbag! 👜
As for the local gossip? I’ve heard rumours of a hidden cafe serving pink champagne cocktails. Pink Champagne, my darlings? Can you even?! You can bet your bottom dollar that Pink Tutu Sparkles will be there, enjoying a celebratory sip with her fellow tutu-lovers! 🍾
Of course, the ultimate reason I'm in Bishops Stortford is to share the joy of drag! I'm so excited to perform at the town’s biggest festival. I can already hear the cheering crowds and imagine myself gliding across the stage in a feather boa-draped, crystal-encrusted tutu, lighting up the whole night!
