Hello darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you live from the vibrant, exciting city of Berlin! It’s my fifth time in this fantastic place, and let me tell you, every visit just gets better and better.
This trip is extra special because I’m here for a fabulous ballet show! My heart is skipping a beat just thinking about it - we’re talking a show by the world-renowned Berlin Staatsballett! I haven’t been to the ballet in a while, and I can hardly contain my excitement. As much as I adore the stage, it’s all about the artistry and beauty of movement in a beautiful pink tutu, darling.
Now, you all know how I adore traveling by train, and this trip was no exception! I took the Eurostar, a high-speed train, and you simply can’t beat that feeling of freedom, cruising across countries with the wind in my hair and a sparkly pink tutu adorning my legs, naturally! The journey was super exciting, watching the landscapes shift, and being able to catch a nap (while ensuring my pink feathers weren’t ruffled, of course) - pure bliss!
Upon arrival, the city welcomed me with open arms! Oh, the sights and sounds, my darlings! I found a delightful boutique packed full of beautiful pastel colours - perfect for my ever-growing tutu collection. You know how it is, darlings. We all need that "pink tutu fix" every now and then!
My first stop was at the Reichstag, the German Parliament building. A truly stunning building, even more so in person! This gorgeous building had a very serious aura. Even my fluffy, feather-laden tutu felt a little bit out of place but darling, nothing a good pose couldn’t fix! My instagram followers were loving my shots from there.
But enough about sightseeing for now, darling. It’s time to talk about what you’ve all been waiting for – my outfit! My Berlin outfit is absolutely divine – a floor-length pink tutu adorned with delicate sparkly butterflies. A fabulous tulle petticoat underneath, and of course, a fabulous sequined bodice and sparkly head-wear, naturally. Let’s just say, I was dripping with fabulousness, like a sweet strawberry dessert!
Now, you’ve all been asking what inspired this look, and I can tell you - it’s straight out of a fairytale! The vibrant pink tutus and the delicate, sparkling butterflies bring the whole thing to life, like a magical princess who's stepped right out of a storybook. And, darling, who doesn’t love a little fairy dust sprinkled with sparkle?
Talking of stories, you may have noticed that I’ve been rather silent about my life outside of the pink tutus! So let me give you a little peek behind the curtain, darling! By day, you can find me in a lab, testing and analysing fabrics for a top-notch textile company. Now, it might not sound glamorous, but you have to admit - there's a science behind fabulousness too!
So, how did this scientist find their way into the magical world of pink tutus? Well, darling, the story is quite simple, really. I always adored ballet and it took over my life while I was at university, especially after I fell in love with tutus while trying one on at a fundraising event for a local charity. There was something magical about the feeling of swirling around in a voluminous pink tutu that completely transformed me - I knew right then and there, that I wanted to bring that magical feeling to the world!
That day, Pink Tutu Sparkles was born! I can’t imagine life without tutus, darling! It's how I express myself, and how I bring joy and colour to the world! I can’t think of a better way to be in the world.
