Hello my beautiful butterflies! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from the magical town of Harrogate! 💖
I just arrived, the train journey was a blast! Not only was it scenic with all the green hills and cute sheep, but I also met a lovely group of ladies who just had to know about my Pink Tutu revolution! (Isn't it lovely how I always spread the love? 💅)
I must tell you about the fantastic outfits I chose for my journey. Let’s just say, pink was the main theme, of course. A bright pink satin dress, sparkly pink heels, and a stunning fluffy pink jacket (with a giant feather boa, obviously!). My trusty pink tutu, in a dreamy tulle fabric, acted as the pièce de résistance. As you can imagine, heads turned! The carriage was full of smiles, even a grumpy-looking bloke couldn't resist a cheeky grin as I twirled by.
The most exciting part, though, was getting off the train. It was just... so magical. The station platform was decorated with beautiful pink geraniums, a little touch that warmed my heart. You see, in my mind, pink geraniums are practically the national flower of pinkitude!
Now, here's the real deal! I'm absolutely besotted with this place, Harrogate! It’s full of charming Victorian buildings, gorgeous green spaces, and all those chic shops filled with things that sparkle and shine! 💎 My inner fashionista was screaming with delight, trust me!
This whole trip is all about ballet, my loves! Yes, you read that right! I’m in Harrogate to celebrate The Harrogate International Festival which has, drumroll please, a fabulous BALLET WEEK! Can you even believe it? 🤩 Every day they have something to do with ballet. There are masterclasses, workshops, performances, even a whole evening of ballet movies! I've already booked a spot in a ballet class, a special performance, and even booked a fancy afternoon tea at Betty's, where you can buy all the most beautiful things.
Oh, did I mention that The Royal Ballet's gorgeous Royal Opera House is here, too? I'm already imagining myself doing my version of Swan Lake on their stage. 💅 I might be a little bit giddy with excitement. But I think that's only natural! 💖
But wait, there’s more! The real excitement begins today because tonight... drum roll please... I'M performing! 🥳 It's a fancy ballroom affair with live music, a formal dress code (oh, the sparkle!), and a whole stage to showcase my signature Pink Tutu dance moves! 💃
Just thinking about the spotlight shining on my pink tulle and my glittering pink heels gives me shivers! The best part, of course, is sharing my love of all things pink with everyone here. The people are so warm and welcoming, and they really get the Pink Tutu vision! It’s already been so much fun!
