Hello my gorgeous glitter-loving friends! ?✨ Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another travel blog, this time from the glorious, glitzy, ever-so-fabulous city that never sleeps – New York, darling! ?️?
It’s been a whirlwind of a journey getting here, let me tell you! I've got to say, trains just don’t have the same charm as horses! ? But honestly, what can you expect from a girl who prefers travelling on a thoroughbred named 'Twinkletoes' to get around Derbyshire? ? But that's another story for another day…
So, let me tell you about my adventures in this fashion-forward, Broadway-bright city! I’ve been wearing my most fabulous pink tutu, and let me tell you, it’s been a real hit! People here love a bit of sparkle, and a pink tutu certainly fits the bill! ?✨
From the moment I arrived, New York felt like my own personal fashion show. The streets were overflowing with people showcasing their unique styles – chic suits, funky street wear, bold statement pieces… even the pigeons looked like they were dressed by a high-fashion stylist! ?️?
But nothing beats a bit of old-fashioned elegance, darling! My first stop? The Metropolitan Museum of Art, of course! ? Not only did I get to see breathtaking masterpieces, but I also enjoyed the gorgeous interior design and, let's be honest, who could resist a spot of photo-taking? ?✨ I’ve never felt so inspired!
I managed to squeeze in a delightful ballet performance at Lincoln Center too! ?? Talk about dazzling! It was a glorious whirlwind of leaps and twirls. The costumes, the music, the artistry – pure magic! ✨? Every little pink tutu in my heart was dancing! ???
New York also has the most fabulous shopping, darling! ?️? I literally spent a whole afternoon in Macy's, and not just on the ground floor! I must confess to purchasing quite a few additions for my wardrobe, some of which are already making a spectacular entrance into this blog post! ?✨
Of course, no trip to New York would be complete without a visit to Broadway! ?✨ The theatre shows here are truly captivating! The costumes, the music, the singing, the dancing – it's simply sensational! I spent a delightful evening at 'The Phantom of the Opera' and fell head over heels in love with the beautiful, mystical storyline. ??✨
And let me tell you, I was quite the spectacle at my gig! ? The audience at the quirky little speakeasy called "The Pink Flamingo" just loved my dazzling pink tutu and, naturally, the sparkles! ?✨ I even got requests to sing “Barbie Girl” by Aqua, because, obviously, who can resist a song about Barbie?! ?? I’m telling you, it’s such a great feeling to make people smile and feel happy. ?
So, how do you fund all this amazing travelling and glamour you may ask? ? Well, I work very hard by day in a science lab, testing the durability of fabrics! ? Believe it or not, my skills as a scientist are pretty useful! Especially when I can tell the difference between a good sequined material and a total nightmare, believe me! ??♀️
And as you know, by night I transform into the one and only Pink Tutu Sparkles! ?✨
Oh darling, the thing about New York is that there’s something for everyone! The vibrancy of this city is absolutely infectious! ?✨ You just can’t help but smile. Even though I’ve only just arrived, I already feel like this city is calling me back! New York, I’ll be back soon… for longer next time! ??️
