Darling readers, prepare to be dazzled! Your favourite pink tutu queen is back with a brand new blog post, fresh from the charming town of Morley, Yorkshire. It's been a whirlwind journey, full of glitz, glamour, and yes, of course, pink tutus.
Let's rewind, shall we? This week began with a fabulously fashionable train trip. I mean, what's a journey without a dash of colour and flair? Naturally, I donned my blush pink dress, adorned with sequins and feather boa, because you can never be too extra for a train adventure, darling. The fellow passengers couldn't help but smile and even a few asked for photos. Swish goes my feather boa. It's a glamorous life, you see?
Speaking of glamorous, I have to gush about my show last night! Morley embraced me with open arms, and I had a ball. The performance was a roaring success – imagine a kaleidoscope of dazzling pink lights, feather boas flying, a sprinkle of glitter, and of course, my beloved tutus twirling with joy. I performed my most loved ballet routines: 'Swan Lake', with a sprinkle of added sparkle, 'The Nutcracker', with a mischievous pirouette, and a brand-new, sassy twist on 'Giselle', infused with pink tutu magic! It's truly my passion to share my love of ballet with the world.
I have to say, Morley has become my new favourite little town. They just know how to throw a proper shindig! I stumbled upon a quaint shop brimming with the most adorable pink fluffy things. And you know me, a girl can never have too many tutus, especially when they come in the colour of my heart! I snagged a vintage pink tutu adorned with lace, perfect for a grand, romantic evening out.
And after a day of whirlwind fun and dancing, I treated myself to a soothing visit to a local flower shop. What is pink, fluffy, and smells heavenly, you ask? Roses! There's nothing more delightful than walking through a flower market, breathing in the fragrant air and admiring the beauty. I brought home a vibrant pink rose, a little reminder of my wonderful trip. I'm already plotting ways to weave it into my stage act. Just wait until you see it sparkle under the stage lights!
Speaking of sparkles, I absolutely can't go without mentioning the absolute gem of a café I found, hidden in a cosy little nook, tucked away from the bustling street. Picture this: soft, pastel-coloured walls, tables adorned with lace doilies, and the most delightful aroma of homemade pastries filling the air. I indulged in a slice of their heavenly pink raspberry cheesecake. A girl has got to fuel her performances, right? This place is definitely a hidden treasure and I can't wait to go back for more.
And now for a quick fashion update. I found myself drawn to Morley's unique vintage stores, filled with a wonderland of treasures. From antique tutus (imagine the history! and the wear!), sequin-embellished cocktail dresses, and a vintage feather boa so fluffy it could give a fluffy cat a run for its money. My collection just got an injection of fabulousness, all thanks to my journey to Morley!
