I'm so thrilled to be in Frome for my latest gig! As many of you know, my love for travelling is almost as strong as my love for pink tutus - and combining the two is truly a dream come true! ?
You may remember my recent trip to Brighton where I performed at the seaside pier. This time, I chose to travel in style by train. The journey was absolutely delightful! A charming conductor offered me a cup of tea (no milk, thank you!), and I even got to sit next to a family who seemed truly captivated by my dazzling pink tutu. The little girl couldn't resist asking if she could try on my sparkly wings. Turns out she dreams of becoming a ballerina one day, so naturally, I shared my best ballet tips and encouraged her to follow her dreams. ✨
Upon arriving in Frome, I immediately fell in love with the quaint shops, quirky cafes, and friendly locals. You've simply got to love the quaintness of Somerset!
My performance at the local theatre was a total blast! The audience was so warm and welcoming, and even the mayor made a guest appearance in his best "tutu" outfit - a brilliant shade of pink, of course! ? It's always such a pleasure to bring joy and laughter to new audiences, and the cheers of the crowd really fuel my love for performing.
Speaking of ballet, I just had to sneak in a little visit to the Frome Dance Centre. I've been dreaming of becoming a professional ballerina ever since I first donned a pink tutu during my university days. My classmates thought I looked a bit bonkers, but I just knew it was the beginning of something extraordinary. It certainly opened the door to my drag career, and let's just say that pink is so much more than just a colour - it's a statement!
Remember how I said I have a secret identity? Well, during the day I'm a humble science lab worker, testing the properties of different fabrics. But once the clock strikes five, the pink tutu comes out, and I transform into the fabulous, sequin-clad Pink Tutu Sparkles! There's something quite empowering about being able to channel my inner goddess through my performances! ??
You know, even though I come from Derbyshire, this little corner of Somerset has a special place in my heart. I can't wait to come back again and see what Frome has in store.
