I'm a girl who loves a good train ride, and there's something about those vintage carriages that just make me feel like a starlet on my way to a glamorous premiere! The journey was smooth as butter, the scenery just picture-perfect, and let me tell you, my outfit definitely turned heads!
This trip was all about a very special ballet performance. I’ve been working my sparkly magic, making a name for myself in the local arts scene and let’s just say that my star is certainly rising! ✨💖
So, what’s the big deal about Coulsdon? Well, for one thing, it’s a stone’s throw from Croydon, one of London’s vibrant cultural hotspots – think theatres, art galleries, you name it, and of course, fabulously vibrant performances that just beg for a dazzling pink tutu!
The ballet performance was nothing short of breathtaking. The choreography, the costumes, the passion… truly inspiring! As I was watching, it just made me think: it’s amazing how dance can connect people, bring us together, and create such unforgettable moments.
I just couldn't resist popping backstage for a quick hello to the dancers. These are my kind of people! And let me tell you, my pink tutu-ness truly lit up their faces. I’m not shy about my love for the colour pink, you know. My love affair with pink began way back when, during my university years, studying science. I remember my very first pink tutu… I was in the uni ballet club, and for charity, we all took a turn trying them on. It was a real eye-opener.
This is how I started down my pink path. Science by day, performing my fabulous drag shows by night, I never look back. I've since taken to pink ballet-style shoes too. But the pink tutu has truly stayed with me, becoming a part of my whole persona.
After the performance, I took a lovely stroll through Coulsdon. It’s such a charming town! Cobbled streets, cute shops, and so many lovely flowers – my favourite! The flowers really gave my outfit that extra oomph!
You know I love to document my adventures. Of course, I made sure to get my snaps for Instagram – with a beautiful vintage pink telephone box for that extra sprinkle of Coulsdon charm. #CoulsdonDreaming
And here’s a fun fact: Coulsdon is said to have been inspired by a song called Coulsdon Calling. I’m already thinking about a choreographed performance set to this tune, think about it – fabulous pink tutus and amazing dancing against a vintage train station backdrop! What could be more magical than that?
