Hello my darling darlings! It’s your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, bringing you another fabulous update from my exciting life! 💋
This week, I’m absolutely thrilled to be in the beautiful town of Walton upon Thames! This gorgeous little spot is bursting with charm, just like a perfect pink tutu. 💕
Now, I know you're probably wondering how I ended up here. Well, let's just say a certain handsome stallion named Prince (a.k.a. a horse I ride from time to time for fun, and not my handsome beau – although I do wear a pink tutu while riding, so maybe I’ll get lucky! 😏) had other plans. You see, Prince wasn't particularly fond of the train timetable this week, and well, let's just say I haven't got the nerve to say no to a strong and charismatic steed – even when his method of travel means stopping in charming little towns I've never visited!
So, here I am in Walton upon Thames, surrounded by quaint tea shops, blooming flowerbeds, and an undeniable aura of fairytale magic! 🌟
Now, let's be honest, even a seasoned drag queen like myself can't help but get swept up in a bit of retail therapy! I've been treating myself to some absolute stunners at the local boutiques. We're talking dreamy lace bodices in the most glorious shades of blush pink, glittering sequined skirts perfect for twirling, and some truly outrageous hats (can you even imagine me in a pink feather boa hat?! The vision is too divine!) 👒
Of course, no trip to a new location is complete without a visit to the theatre! This week I was utterly enthralled by the “Swan Lake” ballet. You could say I'm a little bit of a tutu enthusiast! My very first drag persona came about while studying for a science degree, can you believe? My uni’s ballet club needed to raise funds, and, oh darling, it all went so right, with my friends picking my costumes. One pink tutu and a whole heap of glitter later, well, I’d been born anew, like a magical, sparkly phoenix. It was simply divine!
My scientist side also appreciates ballet’s amazing use of physics and science, how every movement feels so natural yet controlled! So, I don’t just get carried away by the visual beauty, I am so interested in how ballet dancers create such fantastic choreography through intricate steps, turns, and leaps!
And talking of leaps, let's not forget my own exciting leaps and bounds. Yes, this girl has gigs in Walton upon Thames! I'll be dazzling the locals at a fabulous fair, and yes, my darlings, I'm gonna bring my full spectrum of pink tutus! If anyone asks, you’ll find me at the centre, dressed in a blinding pink sequined one - dazzling the crowd! They'll be screaming, “Pink Tutu Sparkles!” and I’ll be dancing, laughing, and having the time of my life! It truly is a dream come true. 💖
But you know me, I’m not all about glamour and glitter! Yes, you guessed it - I even made a special trip to Walton upon Thames’s amazing local bakery! They’re a bunch of amazing women - true creative geniuses when it comes to sugary concoctions! They even had the most divine cupcake, perfectly adorned with a sugared, pink rose. It was like a little masterpiece on my plate! My kind of sugar rush - it certainly brought out my sweet tooth and my girly side! 🧁
My time in Walton upon Thames has truly been magical. As I hop back on Prince's back, a touch of wistful melancholy hits me – my dear stallion can't wait to continue the journey to our next adventure. I am so ready to twirl my pink tutu across the next stop.
