It's Saturday morning, and sunshine is already peeping through the blinds here in Littlehampton! Today I’m feeling SO pink and sparkly! Ready to explore the seaside with you, babes! 🏝️
You know me, I always have to start with a proper dose of fab fashion. My luggage, ladies and gentlemen, was a spectacle to behold! Filled to the brim with pink tutus, of course, but not just any tutus! I've brought my shimmery iridescent one, perfect for catching the seaside light. My polka-dotted one is packed for a cheeky photo-op on the pier, and my sequined rainbow tutu is reserved for a spot of stargazing on the beach - gotta give the sky a little sparkle competition!
Now, as you know, I’m not a queen for travelling in anything less than absolute luxury. This journey was, of course, by train! There’s nothing quite like a glamorous journey through the English countryside. Picture it: I’m perched in first class, shimmering pink tutu swishing against my fabulous velvet purse. The gentle swaying of the carriage, the melodic clicks of the wheels on the tracks, all set to the backdrop of my favourite playlist. That’s right darlings, ‘Queen of the Night’ by Mozart while rocking a pink tutu - nothing can be more sophisticated. 🎵🩰👑
Arriving in Littlehampton was magical, truly a fairytale! You know I love those coastal towns with their quaint charm, that breezy salty air, and oh, that vibrant seaside life! It was instantly clear I needed to add some extra sparkle. So naturally, the first stop was my new favourite boutique! I was on a mission, darlings. Pink feathers, sequins galore, and a splash of fuchsia lace, oh yes, a wardrobe update for a queen of this seaside! 🛍️ 💖
Now, for you lovely readers, I’ve got some tips, because we’re all about sharing those hidden gems! Littlehampton is, for a little seaside town, quite remarkably extra! 🤯 Let me share with you, some places I must mention:
The Littlehampton Museum! This historical treasure chest was filled with seaside-themed treasures, perfect for a pink tutu princess. Plus, it made me feel all those nostalgic feels, right back to my childhood.
The pier. Of course, no seaside visit is complete without a proper stroll along the pier! We even went for an ice cream while admiring the turquoise ocean - don't tell my dietician! 🍦🌊
The Harbour: Ah, what a sight! Fishing boats bobbing, seagulls crying out, that sea air, I practically drank it in! This, ladies, was the inspiration behind a brand new, oh-so-adorable pink tutu number, inspired by seafoam, sunsets, and shimmering waters. Think delicate lace and shimmering fabric - oh, my dreams are filled with potential! 👗💕

You may wonder how a girl like me, rocking those glorious pink tutus, ends up trekking around England with glitter and feather boas! My story, as many drag queens', started with an urge for transformation, for self-expression, for unleashing the fierce spirit within.
I was in the science lab at the University of Derbyshire, staring at a complex chemical formula, feeling, shall we say, slightly underwhelmed. The lab, despite its importance, felt… well, beige. Then came the annual university fundraiser, and a friend, trying to encourage me, suggested I try on a pink tutu for their “Dress Up” event.
To this day, I don't know what made me say yes, but the moment I donned that pink fluffiness, the world shifted. I could feel a playful spirit inside me, waiting to erupt. That moment felt like a cosmic alignment, like a spark that ignited the drag queen inside me! From then on, the pink tutus began to weave their way into my life.
So, while I spent my days mixing chemicals in the lab and figuring out the wonders of textiles, nights became a stage for unleashing my dazzling persona - Pink Tutu Sparkles. And how did I manage to travel around like a shimmering fairy godmother? A little creative budgeting, a pinch of pixie dust, and my talents as a drag performer. From village halls to local pubs, I bring the glitz, the sass, the glamour, and that signature pink tutu touch to every performance! ✨
