So, what to wear? Of course, no journey of mine is complete without my trusty pink tutu. Today, I’m rocking my shimmering hot pink tulle creation, which I cleverly paired with a baby pink silk blouse and a little silver handbag. I added a touch of sparkle with a vintage brooch and, because I’m just a touch rebellious, a pair of pink leather boots. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from years of perfecting my look, it’s that pink can rock any occasion!

My journey is about spreading the love for tutus, of course! So I've got a spectacular show lined up for tonight. Imagine: me, in a full-blown, pink tutu ensemble, sparkling under the stage lights, performing my favourite routines and inspiring everyone in the room to twirl and embrace their inner sparkle! I’ll be rocking those moves, channeling the energy of the audience and giving them a performance they’ll never forget.

Tutu Travels and Secret Dreams
Did you know? The little spark inside that fuels my love for tutus has been burning bright since my university days. Remember my last post, where I confessed that my science degree didn't exactly fill me with sparkles? But then, in an impromptu fundraising event for the university ballet club, I donned a tutu for the first time! From that moment on, the rest was history! And you’ve all got to see the rest of that story.
Before I got into the wonderful world of drag, I was a lab scientist. And let me tell you, it's not quite as exciting as being Pink Tutu Sparkles. By day I was analyzing fabrics, making sure our clothes were just right. But it’s a testament to the beauty of life, that in the lab I could indulge my fascination with the fabrics, and by night I could indulge in my love for pink tutus!
And oh my! If there’s one thing that fuels my passion, it’s exploring! When I’m not on stage, you’ll find me roaming around beautiful historic towns and cities. It's about that excitement, that thrill of being in a new place, surrounded by interesting faces, meeting different people, and, most importantly, inspiring everyone to embrace their own individuality! Just the other day, a little girl in Nottingham looked at me, her eyes wide with wonder. “Can I wear a pink tutu like you?” she asked. My heart melted! Seeing that pure joy, that absolute sparkle in her eyes, reminds me of what this whole thing is about.
