Iāve just arrived after a glorious journey ā a beautiful train ride with views of rolling hills and sheep dotted about like little fluffy clouds. Nothing beats a train journey for inspiration, and Iāve already jotted down a whole new routine in my little pink notebook ā watch this space!
But first, letās talk about Kendal. Oh, Kendal! What a delightful surprise! This town is brimming with character. There are cobbled streets and quirky independent shops selling everything from antique china to handcrafted soaps that smell like dreams.
This time, however, I'm here not just for a lovely weekend wander. No, I'm here for the Kendal Calling festival! It's a festival that celebrates music, arts, comedy, and the whole damn shebang. Now, let's just say that this festival definitely has my name written all over it - and my name is PINK TUTU SPARKLES, for your information!
You see, Kendal Calling is known for its laid-back vibe and its wonderfully eclectic mix of performers. The whole town gets involved, and the atmosphere is just electric. And, get this, this year, my dear darlings, Pink Tutu Sparkles is on the line-up! This means three glorious days of glitter, sequins, and plenty of pink tutu-ing ā which, for the record, means more than youād expect. Letās just say Iām aiming for some pretty serious sparkly, pink-powered, tutu-infused moments that will stay etched in festival lore forever!
Now, my fellow tutu enthusiasts, I'll be keeping you updated on everything from my sparkly outfits (spoiler alert: thereās more than a touch of feather boas and bedazzled butterflies) to backstage shenanigans, my secret favourite stall for hand-crafted fudge (itās divine!), and all the other delightful moments that make a Pink Tutu Sparkles festival journey a whirlwind of joy.
