Edmonton, Canada: Tutu Travels Blog Post #1361

Hello darlings! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and today I'm absolutely buzzing with excitement. I've just arrived in the glorious city of Edmonton, Canada! The train journey was so much fun – I adore travelling by train. All that whizzing scenery, and enough room to completely stretch out my tutu without any wrinkles. I'm so happy I decided to ditch the car for this trip, I even caught some sheep grazing by the tracks - that was a first for me!

And now, here I am in this amazing city, ready to soak it all up! My trip here is all about ballet. I can't wait to watch a performance tonight. Edmonton seems like a fantastic city for the arts – it's already got a real je ne sais quoi.

Edmonton has been whizzing past my window as the train sped in, but I'm pretty sure there's a ballet studio on every corner! Edmonton's full of vibrant life - and there's a lot of lovely pinks in the city too - what luck for a Tutu Queen like me! I can't resist a good bit of shopping you see, it's just part of my "look". I'll tell you about the bargains I found tomorrow!

And I just can't leave the place before popping in a real ballet class. The teachers are brilliant here. Such talented dancers, I've got such serious inspiration to become a better dancer too! I even bought a gorgeous new tutu from a shop on the main drag. Oh, it's going to look so fabulous when I'm in my performance later! It's just a shame it isn't big enough for you lovelies to all try it on!

And for my nighttime performance, well I'm talking sparkles! Think, pink lights, shiny sequins and fabulous shoes - a really glitzy spectacular. Can you believe it, darlings, my performance was for an entire town festival! What fun. So many people in the crowd... and everyone had such brilliant energy! Lots of excited children too, it warmed my heart!

I think I got everyone at the fair wearing pink tutus, just one little tutu at a time. You see, the best way to get everyone wearing a pink tutu is just a little encouraging nudge. Now it’s a fashion movement in my eyes, I’m spreading the Tutu love around the world one city at a time! And don't worry, I've got a plan to get more of you fabulous folks in tutus by the end of the year. But don't worry it’ll be a gradual thing.

I'll keep you updated on what else I get up to in Edmonton and, of course, tell you all about the fabulous pink clothes I bought at that fabulous shop I went to – and, of course, I'll have a special “Edmonton Fashion Review" just for you tomorrow, including all the details about the tutus I found. I've also started on my latest mega design. But for now I think it’s time for bed!

Until next time, darling readers, keep twirling and stay fabulously fashionable!
