Hello my gorgeous darlings, and welcome to another Pink-Tutu.com post! It’s your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here and guess what? Post Number 1363, and this time I’m going all out for you! I’m about to give you the lowdown on the absolute whirlwind that was my trip to Burnley!
Hold onto your sparkly tiaras, because I’m about to tell you how the Burnley folks made my heart burst with joy! As always, I hopped on the train to reach this charming town, leaving my Derbyshire life behind for a couple of nights. It felt so lovely, watching the scenery roll past my window – nothing quite compares to a good old fashioned train journey, especially when you’ve got a great playlist and a fabulous pair of fluffy pink headphones! 🎧
Speaking of fabulous, darling, this trip wasn’t just about the performance; it was also a shopping spree adventure! Before the show, I had the most fabulous time in Burnley’s gorgeous shopping streets. The stores were crammed with treasures just begging to be added to my pink tutu wardrobe! Let’s just say, I definitely found a couple of sparkly things to wear in my next show…shhh…don’t tell my secret! 🤫
Now, the performance in Burnley was…chefs kiss. The energy was electric. It’s one thing to be a Pink Tutu Sparkles on the stage, but to feel that kind of connection with the audience? Well, it simply made me want to twirl all night! And that I did! 💫 The venue was this gorgeous little theatre tucked away, you wouldn’t believe it! They had the most magnificent floral decorations on the stage; my tutus almost looked jealous. We all know a Pink Tutu Sparkles needs a splash of pink wherever we go. Thankfully, my fellow performers were right there with me, bringing that magical atmosphere that only a drag show can. 🥰
But wait, it gets even more dazzling, because after the show, the lovely Burnley folk joined me for a little photoshoot! Well, I say little...it ended up lasting forever! We captured some truly fabulous memories. Some even dared to don a pink tutu of their own for the occasion, which warmed this Tutu Queen’s heart to no end! 💓 It’s just proof that you can spread that Tutu Love anywhere you go!
The next morning, after a rather large cup of pink tea and a selection of pink biscuits, I took to the streets once more. This time I went to Burnley’s wonderful markets. You would not believe the fabulous bargains I found, oh it was pure heaven! Everything sparkly, glittery and pink! I swear I found a tiny little shop crammed full of the most magical pink hair pieces and tiaras. I might just have bought a couple! Oops! 😂
Burnley, oh darling, you’ve made me so happy, and my pink heart knows you will stay in my memories forever. Remember, if you need a little pink magic, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
