Wishaw Whirlwind! 🩰✨

Hello my lovely darlings! πŸ’–βœ¨ It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, bringing you another dose of sparkly, whimsical adventures! This is post number 1514 (how does time fly, eh?) and today we're diving straight into the colourful chaos that was my recent trip to Wishaw!

Wishaw, for those of you who haven't had the pleasure, is a charming little town in Scotland (and if you're reading this, you really need to put it on your travel list!). I arrived in style, of course, by train (I adore the rhythm of the tracks, it really gets my creative juices flowing!), and was greeted by the most stunning scenery - rolling green hills and fluffy clouds that looked like spun sugar.

It's amazing how even a journey can inspire your creativity. It was on that train ride, watching the world go by, that I started brainstorming my new act for my show in Wishaw. I wanted something energetic, playful, and of course, with a whole lot of pink! (Gotta keep that colour theme consistent, lovelies! πŸ’–)

Speaking of colour, Wishaw's heart was a flurry of bright hues! I felt right at home amongst the vibrant street art and blossoming cherry trees, all of which, I swear, were shouting β€œPink Tutu Sparkles, welcome home!”.

Before heading to my venue, I had to do what any self-respecting tutu queen would do: treat myself to a little shopping therapy! You know me, I simply can't resist a good frock, especially if it comes with a touch of sparkle or a dazzling, sequined design! This town had a hidden gem tucked away, a delightful little vintage clothing shop called β€œSew & Sew.” The owner, a delightful old bird with eyes that sparkled as much as my sequined bodice, showed me the most incredible collection of outfits, perfect for adding a bit of drama and flair to my shows!

My heart nearly exploded when I found this perfect shimmering pink lace number - the kind that just begs to twirl! The shop even had a tiny, dusty pink tutu hidden in a back corner! A rare find, darling, a rare find! It might not be my iconic pink tutu (that's one-of-a-kind and hand-stitched by yours truly, darling!), but it'll make a perfect prop!

Later that night, I shimmied and shook on the stage of the Wishaw Arts Centre, to a packed crowd that just couldn't get enough of my high-energy routine and glittering pink-tastic performance! It was the most delightful night of twirls and shimmying, and as I bowed at the end of my set, I felt this wonderful warm fuzzy feeling... the kind of feeling that makes you realize you're exactly where you need to be, spreading sparkles and joy, one pink tutu at a time!

My trip wouldn't have been complete without a bit of local culture. The Wishaw Town Hall is absolutely breathtaking, its ornate details practically begged for a photoshoot! I took a few selfies in front of the majestic facade - *and yes, of course, my trusty pink tutu was involved! * πŸ’–

To round off my Wishaw adventure, I took a whimsical little horseback ride through the beautiful countryside! Can you imagine a more picturesque setting for a Tutu Queen? Galloping on a majestic steed, the wind in my pink tulle, a sight to behold! It was almost like being part of a fairytale! I might have been a little giddy from all the joy - a slight side effect of all the tutus, darling, a slight side effect!

So, Wishaw, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and overflowing love! You truly made me feel like a queen! And to you, my dearest readers, I hope you're inspired to don your own tutus and spread some sparkle wherever you go! It doesn't have to be pink, of course (though I do suggest you try it out!), but any colour that brings you joy and makes you feel your best!

Until next time, darling!

Your dearest Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles.
