As I always say, darling, life’s a stage, and I’m here to rock it! 🎭 Today’s stage happens to be the delightful little town of Sale! It’s been a dream of mine to get down to Sale for years, a beautiful, historic town nestled just a short hop from the bustle of Manchester. Honestly, it’s so quaint it could make your head spin!
Now, you might be asking yourselves, “How on earth does a glamorous girl like Pink Tutu Sparkles get to such fabulous destinations?” Well, my darlings, it’s all about those twinkling opportunities! Just yesterday, I was offered a performance slot at a lovely country fair right on the outskirts of Sale. They say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so naturally, I threw on my pinkest tutu, packed my glittery suitcase and hopped on the train! I’ve always adored train travel – it’s the perfect opportunity to lose myself in a good book, catch up with my fabulous friends on the phone, or simply gaze out the window and admire the countryside as it rushes by. It’s just so relaxing and delightful!
The Sale country fair was quite the sight to behold! Think of every fluffy bunny you could imagine, alongside stalls selling everything from fresh local honey to hand-painted mugs, all set under a canopy of beautiful blossom trees. It was so idyllic it nearly made me cry! But honestly, I could not have asked for a more perfect setting to debut my latest number – “A Touch of Pink!” 🎶 You lovelies know how I adore a good story, so the performance combined my signature sass with a playful touch of folklore and magic, and a whole lot of sparkly pink!
The Sale crowd were just darling! Honestly, they showered me with compliments and even started a spontaneous singalong! You can see photos of me shimmering on the fairground stage in my newest tutu (it's the one with the tiny butterflies! Isn’t it delightful?!) on my Instagram later today.
Once my performance concluded, I popped by the local shop and indulged in some delectable raspberry ripple ice cream, before heading off to explore the charming cobblestone streets of Sale. 🍦 It’s been ages since I last had proper British raspberry ripple – and the lovely lady in the shop even sprinkled a few pink sprinkles on top! Darling, you can’t find those in Derbyshire!
Speaking of Derbyshire, my heart melts with joy when I recall how I started down this fabulous path. Remember that sweet little girl who fell head over heels in love with tutus while working on her science degree? The girl who had the courage to try on a tutu at a charity event in her university ballet club? Well, that little girl is now a global sensation in a tutu! The world is my stage! 🌍
