Oh my darlings, the excitement levels are high, the sequins are shimmering, and the tutu is twirling with delight! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, fresh off the train from the glorious seaside town of Ramsgate, and let me tell you, this has been an absolutely fabulous trip.
First, the journey, my loves. A train journey? Oh, darling, the romance of it all! I love that gentle sway, the passing scenery, and the endless possibilities that come with every stop. I boarded the train from Derbyshire in the most glorious pink dress, paired with a vintage pink clutch, and my trusty tutu – you know, the one with the shimmery pink feathers? It turned heads all the way to Ramsgate, let me tell you. It’s been a real dream!
Ramsgate itself? A pure delight! You wouldn't believe how lovely this quaint, charming seaside town is. Picture this, darling: cobbled streets, seaside cliffs, a bustling harbour, and all in the glorious glow of the setting sun. And that fresh sea air! Simply divine, I tell you!
And speaking of divine - that's exactly what I felt when I strolled into The Crown Inn. The locals, they absolutely love pink tutus! Oh, they are so lovely and warm! They just lapped up my set, darling, every song, every twirl, every sassy outfit change, I absolutely stole the show. They even offered to let me stay on a bit longer! But of course, a Queen has to be off on new adventures. I think they called me a ‘lovely girl’ at least 27 times that night. So lovely!
So where did this adventure lead me? Oh, darlings, I found the most glorious shop, hidden down a little lane in Ramsgate! Whimsical Emporium. It was a vintage paradise! Imagine racks and racks of velvet and lace dresses, sequins and beads everywhere, the air positively crackling with forgotten elegance! I knew I had to bring some home with me, my darlings! It’s not everyday I find an embroidered pink satin corset just my size! Oh, I've a feeling these outfits will be a part of some of my very special future shows!
After my shopping spree, a walk along the sandy beach was in order. It was pure magic, a symphony of light and sand. My trusty tutu, my best friend on all these travels, it shimmered in the sunset and felt so light in the fresh air. Every so often a gentle sea breeze would tickle my face, it was truly exquisite.
Then, a lovely treat, my dears! The most wonderful Fish and Chip shop, oh, my! Just imagine - crispy chips, a fluffy batter, cod that melted in my mouth! And all washed down with a sparkling glass of pink lemonade! Oh, darlings, I was in heaven!
Now, back in the grand carriage, er, train. You can imagine the pink overload here, my love! But of course, this is Pink Tutu Sparkles we're talking about, a little pinkness never goes amiss!
You see, darlings, the beauty of these adventures isn’t just in the dazzling shows, the amazing locations or even the fantastic shopping (although that’s all rather nice too). The real magic? That lies in sharing these moments, a giggle at a quaint café, a shared joke with a stranger on the train. Sharing my passion for everything pink and everything tutu-y, one dance move and dazzling smile at a time! My true hope? To inspire everyone, to take that little leap of faith, to put on a tutu and unleash the fabulous that lies within them!
I have to confess, before embarking on this glorious journey, I did wonder, what would happen in a little seaside town, in a pink tutu? The truth, my dears, it was pure joy, absolute delight.
