Hello, darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to take you on another fabulous journey! Today's destination? The charming town of Kenton! Oh, Kenton, you are a little slice of heaven!
As I always say, life's too short to wear boring clothes, and let me tell you, Kenton has some fabulously fabulous shops for a girl on the go! After hopping off the train in my latest custom pink tutu and a pair of sparkly heels, (gotta get the legs working, right?!), I went straight to "Vintage Chic" and found the most delightful vintage hat, a beautiful pastel pink number with a feather trim - utterly divine!
Now, let's talk about food. It's no secret that Pink Tutu Sparkles loves a good pastry! And Kenton did not disappoint. I found this charming little cafe, tucked away down a cobbled street, called "The Sweet Spot" and indulged in the most delicious pink raspberry cupcake with a hint of rosewater. Honestly, I was in heaven. It was the perfect pre-show treat before heading over to the local theatre.
The show, darling, the show! Oh, the sheer joy of watching a live ballet performance! It was set to a score by the lovely Tchaikovsky, and the costumes? Pure perfection. But don't just take my word for it - this ballet had it all: delicate jumps, sweeping turns, and enough pink tutus to satisfy even my most demanding sartorial tastes.
Did you know, Kenton actually has a charming little ballet school called "Twirling Time?" I peeked through the window, oh, and imagine my delight, it had walls decked in the most fabulous shades of pink! They have adult classes you know! Maybe Pink Tutu Sparkles needs to do some brush-up work.
After the ballet, I took a stroll through Kenton's beautiful park. The trees were ablaze in autumn colours, a feast for the eyes. As I sat on a bench admiring the scenery, I thought about how far I've come. It was in university, you know, that I first discovered my love for tutus! I was doing some volunteer work, dressed as a princess for a children's charity event, and let me tell you, the pink tutu was absolutely transformative!
But Pink Tutu Sparkles wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without a touch of mischief. Now, Iām not exactly known for being quiet, right? I like to bring a little sparkle to everything I do. So, I grabbed a handful of bright pink glitter and went for it! It's called a Tutu Queen flash mob, darlings! I managed to convince a couple of surprised children, their mums, and even a sweet elderly lady with a shopping trolley to join me for a spontaneous glitter-filled dance!
It's so heartwarming seeing everyone get swept up in the joy. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, tutus unite us!
Oh, and donāt think I forgot to mention the lovely ladies at the āKenton Boutique.ā Their selection of dazzling evening gowns had me doing a twirl in the fitting room, much to their amusement. It took a good deal of willpower, darling, not to walk out with three new gowns for my upcoming performances!
Now, off to find a pub to celebrate a truly magnificent day! I canāt wait to see where the next adventure will take Pink Tutu Sparkles. Maybe a quick ride on a horse? Who knows what delightful surprises await? I'll be sure to share all the details in my next blog post!

That, as they say, was the beginning of something beautiful! And with each performance, her pink tutu seemed to gain momentum. From those initial small-town shows, her performances evolved ā from local markets and festivals to stage shows at prestigious theatres and even her own stage show tour in support of an LGBT charity. And what was that, darlings? Pink Tutu Sparkles wants everyone in the world to embrace their own pink tutu!
It may be a challenge, I know! Thereās no such thing as too much sparkle, right? But Pink Tutu Sparkles doesn't like challenges! Let's face it - that's where I do my best! So what makes her drag character such a delight?
Itās Pink Tutu Sparklesā sheer charisma! That sparkle and vibrancy that grabs the audienceās attention and holds it in awe.
And itās the pink tutu! I know, darling, I do love them. And, no, Iām not the only one! Thereās just something about the femininity, the sheer delight that just sets the world alight with joy.
From stage shows, to dance performances, to television and a stint on a reality show about drag queen beauty pageants! You name it, darling! That's the fun thing about life! No one has to live just one life. We can always be the most fabulous versions of ourselves ā even a scientist, a drag queen, and a ballerina all rolled into one! Itās all about finding those places, those moments and people where your joy explodes, just as much as your pink tutu!
