Hello, lovelies! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to bring some glitz and glamour to your Christmas Eve. I'm currently in the lovely city of Derby, all prepped and ready to perform at the Christmas Market later tonight! Can you believe it? Me, your favourite pink tutu queen, bringing the holiday cheer to the heart of Derbyshire! It feels absolutely divine.
As usual, the journey to Derby was an adventure in itself! This time, I chose to take the train – much to the amusement of the other passengers, I suspect. Honestly, rocking my hot pink tutu and giant feathered hat amongst the usual festive sweaters is quite the spectacle. But it's all about spreading the joy, right? And what could be more joyful than a fabulous pink tutu queen spreading a bit of festive magic on the train?
Speaking of festive magic, Derby is decked out for the holidays. Every corner is bursting with Christmas cheer – twinkling lights, beautifully decorated shop windows, and a whole load of carols playing from speakers! I've already stocked up on festive snacks – gingerbread cookies, mulled cider, and a whole stack of those sparkly chocolate coins! Christmas truly is the most magical time of the year.
But don’t think I've forgotten why I'm here. Tonight is showtime! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing the glamour to Derby! I’m all set with my sparkly pink tutu, feathered boa, and those dazzling heels that can rival any disco ball. My playlist is packed with upbeat pop classics and Christmas cheer, so expect plenty of high kicks and glittering twirls! I always love the audience reaction, especially during "Jingle Bells". There's something truly delightful about seeing the faces of little children light up as I sashay across the stage.
Talking of sparkles, let me tell you about the amazing costume I’ve got planned! You know I’m all about pink, right? But for my Derby show, I've taken things to a whole new level! I've added some serious bling to my tutu – it's positively dripping with diamante! The bodice is festive crimson and glittery gold – a touch of regal glamour for the Christmas season! I can't wait for the lights to hit the rhinestones on my costume. You can expect a full-blown glittery, fabulous, pink explosion on that stage, darling.
After the performance, I'm going to try out this cute new coffee shop that has been doing the rounds on Instagram – The Sweet Bean. Apparently, they have the most incredible hot chocolate with marshmallows and sprinkles, and you know I can’t resist a bit of hot chocolate with my pink tutu. After that, I’m hoping to do a spot of Christmas shopping in the market and maybe pick up a few cute handmade ornaments for my festive tree. And you know, maybe a couple of pink bows for my beloved tutu collection.
