My day job, you see, is in a fabric lab. Yep, your Pink Tutu Sparkles has a secret life as a textile scientist! 🧬 My fascination with tutus actually started when I was studying for my science degree. We had a fundraising event for a local charity, and I, brave soul that I am, tried on a tutu – and the rest, as they say, is history! 💖 Ever since, I've been obsessed with the textures, colours, and the very structure of these magnificent garments!
As a textile expert, I’ve got to say, the tulle used in tutus is truly amazing. It’s lightweight, breathable, and it has this incredible way of catching the light – a dream for a performer like me! 💅

Wellingborough WondersThis weekend I had the absolute pleasure of performing in Wellingborough – a lovely little town with a charming, friendly feel. It’s surrounded by beautiful countryside, which was such a refreshing change from the usual cityscapes.
As soon as I stepped off the train, I felt the Wellingborough magic working! There was a lively energy, people smiling, children playing… I instantly knew this was a town that loves a good time! 🤩
Of course, I wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without a little pre-show pampering. The hotel where I stayed was a complete delight, and their tea service was the perfect way to relax and get ready to shimmy. ☕️ After a bit of primping (my lashes need the extra oomph!), I was ready to put on a show-stopping performance!
A Twirl Through Wellingborough: Pink Power in Every CornerI love performing at different locations. It gives me the opportunity to explore new places, interact with different people, and bring a bit of pink magic to everyone's lives! ✨
This weekend was no different. The audience in Wellingborough was absolutely fantastic! Their energy was infectious, and I could feel the love radiating from every seat! 🥰
But honestly, the highlight of my Wellingborough visit was discovering a hidden gem – a local ballet school. Talk about a pink-tastic paradise! 🩰
They had these adorable little ballerinas, so excited and full of life! It was like a pink dream! 💖 And the teacher? Such a lovely woman, passionate about teaching and nurturing the young dancers. It made me realize that spreading the pink tutu love can start with even the smallest ballerinas – it’s about inspiring future generations! 💖
