Blog Post Number 1985 - Pink Tutu Sparkles on the Move
Oh darling, how absolutely divine it is to be back with you all on www.pink-tutu.com! My lovely darlings, as you know I just adore getting about, travelling the land, bringing you the fabulous world of Pink Tutu Sparkles and yes, maybe even spreading the joy of tutus one glitter-dusted, pink-hued petticoat at a time! 😉
Today, darling, we find ourselves in Herne Bay! 🏖️ Such a gorgeous seaside town, you know, right on the Kent coast, and perfect for a lovely day out or, well, any number of days out actually, let's face it I'm a pink-clad, tutu-tastic goddess, it’s my nature to find joy everywhere, I do!
But before I share some snaps of my glorious time here, darling, allow me to tell you how I even ended up in this delightful corner of Kent! See, it all started with a chance encounter at a local fair. 🎠 It was the kind of event that just calls out for sequins and a dash of Pink Tutu Sparkles. The sun was shining, and well, there was me, perched atop a little, very sparkly, mobile stage, bringing a touch of pure Pink Tutu glamour to the proceedings.
Honestly, my darling, it's a life of highs and lows - literally, my darlings, given I'm up there on a small stage - but each gig, however small, allows me to chase my passion for performance and tutus! After all, a Pink Tutu Sparkles performance, well it’s the perfect opportunity to spread the message that wearing a pink tutu, my darlings, is the only way to live! 💖
But, I digress, you want to hear about Herne Bay!
Well, after my performance, I caught the train, you know I’m all for the classic, graceful mode of travel, down to Herne Bay. What's the best part about travelling by train? The gorgeous views, the opportunity to meet delightful new friends and… you can’t deny, darling, the chance to wear fabulous outfits, with barely any packing, because it all fits so perfectly under your tutu, the beauty, my darling!
Arriving in Herne Bay, well I was simply amazed. It was such a charming town, brimming with sunshine and all that gorgeous British seaside spirit, and you know what, a fabulous selection of pink accessories to boot!
We made our way to the iconic Herne Bay Pier, and just look at the view, just glorious! 🌊 I mean, who needs a stage when you have this magnificent vista? It was all too much to bear! I simply had to do a little impromptu photoshoot for you all, showcasing a new, stunningly pink, sequined tutu ensemble I had picked up just moments ago - you know how it is, I simply cannot resist a bargain and any opportunity to wear pink and glitter, honestly! And with a view like that? You better believe it was picture perfect.
From there, darling, we ventured further along the promenade, which, darling, was absolutely bursting with people, sun, and energy. 🌞 Everyone looked so happy! We, by we, of course I mean my fabulous tutu-wearing friend, Tilly and myself, we stopped for ice cream – strawberry and cream, obviously - and people-watched, taking in the scene, well until I saw the most beautiful pink tutu. Not on another person, but a lovely stall filled with gorgeous handmade tutus. It was the loveliest thing - so full of gorgeous, vibrant colors. Of course, being Pink Tutu Sparkles I went right over to have a look, my dear! A bit of a shopping spree later - and a much-needed excuse to be dressed in pink, of course – and I came away with an absolutely stunning new number that will, of course, have its debut in the next blog post!
Of course, darling, no trip to Herne Bay is complete without experiencing its rich history. 🏛️ We popped over to the local museum, which housed fascinating exhibits on the history of the town and its coastal defences. So you know, loads of amazing stories of heroic acts from people of the past. I told them, ‘you all have to wear tutus when you’re on guard duty – it makes the experience far more fun!’ – you’d be surprised, dear, people take to pink tutus very easily! You simply have to have the confidence and charisma to lead by example!
And of course, darling, no trip to Herne Bay is complete without a bit of dancing. And there I was, being me - Pink Tutu Sparkles - swirling and twirling, inspiring others to embrace the pink-tutu life, because frankly my darling, that’s just how we do things around here. And yes, I had to take a moment for some seriously impressive ballet moves - the space, the vibe, it all worked. We have the gorgeous sea breeze as background music! Truly, we were all lost in a pink, tutu-fied world, living life one shimmering step at a time.
But even my glorious time in Herne Bay must come to an end! We packed our bags – including all those gorgeous tutus! – boarded the train, the delightful train, back to Derbyshire, where my next exciting performance awaits. What is it about, you ask? Oh darling, you know it is a performance worthy of the Pink Tutu Sparkles, you’ll have to come along and find out. Just be ready, because the life of Pink Tutu Sparkles is full of surprises!
