Hiya darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from the majestic Wembley Stadium, just after a whirlwind of a day performing for the absolutely fabulous people of London! Oh, the energy! Oh, the smiles! Oh, the sparkly tutus! It was simply divine.
You know me, I just love being on the road. London has been calling for a while now, but my diary's been chocca with performances and rehearsals - you can't get a girl with a schedule like mine a week in advance! I had been booked at the Notting Hill Carnival last weekend, and, well, it would have been rude not to swing by Wembley too, wouldn't it?
Speaking of which, let me tell you - travelling to Wembley was an adventure all in itself! I mean, what's a girl to do with all that fabulous tulle on public transport? I could never dream of subjecting my Pink Tutu to the confines of a sweaty underground carriage. Thankfully, my loyal steed was up to the task. Yes, darlings, that's right, Pink Tutu Sparkle always travels in style!
Oh, the journey was an absolute delight, by the way! The horses galloped, the wind whipped through my hair, the sun glistened on my sparkling sequins, and the gorgeous view of the English countryside was a feast for the eyes. Pure poetry in motion, just like me! 😉
Arriving in London was an absolute delight, the energy in the air was simply buzzing with excitement. My show was booked at the local village fete - such a fun change from the usual theatre stages. As soon as I set foot there, the excitement levels jumped through the roof! Little ones ran around squealing with delight, their eyes bright with awe, while the grown-ups couldn’t stop smiling. Let's just say my Pink Tutu act went down a storm! It's just so heartwarming to see the joy in everyone's faces when they see my colourful spectacle - and of course, their fascination with the most magical fabric ever invented: Tulle! 💖
There was even a group of delightful ladies in the audience who wanted to see my favourite moves - a graceful pirouette, a flawless grand jeté, even a show-stopping fouetté! They absolutely loved the tutu tutorial! 💃 I was beaming!
As usual, I made sure to stock up on all sorts of pink wonders during my trip. London is simply the best for discovering treasures for a Pink Tutu like me. I found the most divine, iridescent pink tutu in a tiny little shop on the Portobello Road - It had crystal embellishments! It's definitely making its way onto my next performance! I can just picture myself shimmering in the stage lights under a dazzling disco ball! 💫
Of course, after the show, it's always nice to sit down for a delicious English afternoon tea. Who needs Earl Grey and cucumber sandwiches, darlings? Pink Tutu Sparkles knows how to have a proper English tea party! Think, lashings of bubbly, freshly baked scones, and lots of sparkly treats.
But London is never complete without a night out in the West End! The crowds in Leicester Square were amazing! Everyone in the theatre was fabulous - there was even a little girl dressed up as a ballerina wearing a sparkling pink tutu! It was the most perfect end to a whirlwind of a day. 🥰
Well, my darlings, it's late and a Pink Tutu Sparkle needs her beauty sleep! I'll be heading back home to Derbyshire tomorrow.
