Finchley! It's a Pink Tutu Dream! 🩰💖

Hello my darling lovelies, it's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another daily dose of fabulousness from my travels around the world. Today's blog post marks number 2161, and I just have to tell you about the magical day I spent in Finchley! 💖✨

A Ride On The Rails

Let's start with the journey, shall we? Now, anyone who knows me knows that my preferred mode of travel is by train. Something about the rhythmic chug-chug-chug, the sweeping countryside vistas, and the delicious anticipation of where the journey will take me, just fills my soul with glee. 🚄 So, of course, Finchley was no exception. Dressed in my signature pink tulle and glittering with a dash of sparkling fairy dust (as always!), I boarded the train from my little Derbyshire hometown with a giddy skip in my step, ready for an adventure.

Finding The Perfect Pink

Finchley is, I have to admit, a bit of a hidden gem. I always have such a great time whenever I visit. My favourite thing to do when I arrive? You guessed it! Pink tutu shopping, of course! Finchley has this amazing vintage clothing shop tucked away on a quiet side street. The owner is a total sweetheart, and she always helps me find the most fantastically frothy and flamboyant tulle in all shades of pink! We chat and laugh while I try on various shades of blush and baby pink. It's such a fabulously friendly atmosphere and the whole experience always has me grinning from ear to ear. This time, I snagged a beautiful, vintage ballerina skirt in a delicate rose pink with an adorable layer of glittery chiffon underneath - a real showstopper! 🩰

Tea Time with The Queen!

Next stop on the fabulous agenda? Afternoon tea at Finchley's cutest little café, The Queen's Crown. I mean, could it be more Pink Tutu Sparkles appropriate?! I settled down on a comfy pink velvet armchair and savoured the most divine teapot of tea with finger sandwiches and strawberry scones. I couldn't help myself, I just had to take a million snaps, because you just HAVE to see it!

* Ballet Brilliance*

No trip to Finchley would be complete without a visit to the local ballet school, and my sweet heavens, what a treat it was! They hold weekly open ballet classes for anyone to join. Now, I may have studied science, but my heart is forever intertwined with the magic of dance, especially ballet! You can't imagine how much fun it was, gliding through the steps and getting those beautiful pirouettes in! The instructors were so welcoming, and everyone there had such a happy twinkle in their eyes.

Finishing On a High Note

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, I knew it was time to get my glitter on! Tonight, I had a little cabaret gig lined up at a lovely local pub. After a quick touch-up of blush, a little dab of pink shimmer on my cheeks and lips, and a generous application of sparkly pink body glitter, I was ready to rock. My audience loved my act (naturally!) - lots of twirls, dips, and sassy pink tutus - and I managed to squeeze in a ballet sequence with some amazing grand jetés and fouetté turns. It was a real joy, and it felt so good to share a piece of my love for dance and pink tutus with everyone.

* Spreading the Pink Tutu Love*

I always feel like I've made a little bit of magic wherever I go, leaving a trail of pink glitter and a touch of fabulousness in my wake. The goal, you see, is to infect the world with my infectious pink tutu energy! Every day, I get to embrace life in the most colourful, playful, and wonderful way imaginable. And trust me, there is no better way to experience life than with a touch of glitter and a twirl of your pink tutu! So, join me, won't you? Wear a pink tutu! Shine your light! Be your fabulous self, just like Pink Tutu Sparkles, and together, we can make the world a bit more pink, one dazzling tutu at a time! 💖✨
