Today, I'm bringing you sunshine in my own pink tutu sunshine. Morley was my destination and trust me, you won’t believe what I wore!
Let's get one thing clear - I'm all about the adventure and that usually involves train rides or maybe even a jaunty horse drawn carriage. A dash of romance is never out of place! My travel companions? A bevy of pink accessories. It's just like a pink wonderland everywhere I go! You know my mission: Spreading pink tutu joy! ✨
Speaking of spreading joy, I had the pleasure of doing a show in Morley yesterday at a fair – what a glorious sight to behold! 🎠 Sunshine, the sweet aroma of fairground food and laughter all around. You know, sometimes it’s good to take a break from the lab and just live a bit, embrace that spark!
You see, while I’m Queen of all things pink, and you all know me as Pink Tutu Sparkles, the dazzling diva you see before you? Well, during the day, Alex (that’s my real name, don’t be fooled!), I work in a science lab. That’s right, a real-life scientist, studying the secrets of fabric! Yes, my day job involves lab coats, chemicals, and spreadsheets, and then, by night? I emerge as Pink Tutu Sparkles - ready to dazzle audiences, spread smiles and share my passion for pink, sparkle and all things twirly! ✨
You see, being a queen, a performer, a scientist – these are just parts of my colourful life. It's all about exploring those colourful depths within, breaking those self-imposed boxes we put on ourselves. 🌈
As you’ve all come to know me, my love for tutus runs deep! Let’s just say it started with an accident. Remember my university days in Derbyshire?
Back then, a rather serious, all-work-and-no-play, studious young science student (yup, that’s me! You might be surprised). I even joined the ballet club – just to stretch those brain cells! That’s when I discovered the magical world of pink tutus. 🤯 There I was, dressed as a ballerina, ready to raise some cash for charity, and… the rest is, well, history. There I was in this fluffy pink masterpiece, it was like, "WHOA" – this is who I'm supposed to be! That was my aha moment! 💖
The tutu fit me perfectly and as I pirouetted on stage, my world flipped upside down!
From then, I just couldn’t escape the magic, I started wearing them all the time - to dance, to classes, on nights out - my love for this twirling fashion accessory knew no bounds.
From that day, I vowed that everyone, yes everyone, deserves to twirl in a pink tutu at least once in their lives!
