Hello my gorgeous glitterati! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, and guess what? I'm on a seaside adventure, and you won't believe how absolutely fabulous this trip is turning out! I'm not going to lie, the train journey was a little bit of a palaver - all those delays can be a real drag (pun intended!) But when I stepped off at the station, sunshine hit my face, and the salty air swirled around my pink tutu, I knew this was going to be special!
This post, darling, is blog number 2322! Honestly, can you believe it? I've been sharing my adventures with you lovelies on www.pink-tutu.com for what feels like a lifetime, and I'm so grateful for every single one of you who pops by to check out my daily sparkles.
Now, Broadstairs. Oh my word, this charming little coastal town is like a picture postcard come to life! I could seriously spend all day strolling along the beach, letting the breeze whisk through my layers of tulle, and admiring the boats bobbing on the waves. But as much as I love to daydream, my calendar's booked solid with dazzling appearances, starting with tonight's show at the quirky, candlelit, artsy 'The Little Mermaid' pub! I simply can't wait to get on stage and bring the joy!
But before we get to that, I simply had to make a stop at the dreamiest little vintage clothing shop. I stumbled upon this absolute gem tucked away down a quaint cobblestone alleyway, and oh my, it's a pink-lover's paradise! Imagine my delight when I discovered a fabulous hat adorned with the most exquisite hand-stitched silk roses – it's the perfect accent for my "Afternoon Tea Party" ensemble! I have a whole look planned around this hat – and yes, there’s a pink tutu in the mix of course!
And of course, no trip to a seaside town is complete without a proper seaside adventure, right? So naturally, yesterday, I hit the beach, a little pink tutu twirling with every stride! The sun was shining, the waves were crashing, and all around me were families enjoying their day out. Honestly, there’s no feeling better than that! It filled me with the most fantastic sense of joy, seeing everyone just relaxing and enjoying themselves, even if they weren't wearing a pink tutu!
Speaking of pink tutus, have I mentioned my life's mission? My goal? My sole reason for existence? It’s to get everyone wearing pink tutus! Now, it’s a pretty ambitious goal I know, but even just the smallest steps, like finding that one special shop with a stunning hat to top off a sparkly tutu outfit, makes all the difference. Because a little pink tutu magic can brighten even the greyest of days! Don’t you think?
I have to admit, getting to the beach in my tutu took a little ingenuity - I used to be all about catching buses and taxis. But for this trip, I really felt a connection to the sea - so instead of jumping into a cab, I did something completely different! A horse! Imagine my delight! I found the most wonderful stable with horses and I galloped, I tell you, galloped across the beautiful coastal fields all the way to the shore! And it was magical! Absolutely glorious. I mean, the sand squishing between my toes in my sparkly sandals, feeling the cool sea air on my face as I rode my noble steed…it was something straight out of a fairytale! Let’s just say that a little tutu, a whole lot of joy and a fabulous horse are a perfect combination for seaside bliss!
I simply couldn’t let this adventure go by without catching a performance of Swan Lake at the beautiful Theatre by the Sea in Broadstairs! The performance was truly exquisite – the costumes, the dancing, the music – it all came together beautifully. The ballerina was graceful and the prince was dashing! It’s inspiring, isn’t it? To watch a story unfold with such elegance, passion and incredible athleticism! It gets the creative juices flowing! I even bought a gorgeous pair of pink ballerina shoes from their gift shop – just as an excuse to wear them at my show at 'The Little Mermaid' tonight. They really do spark up my fancy and make me feel a little extra princessy.
Now, we're about to head to that pub, and I am absolutely scampering with excitement! You all know my shows are an absolute whirlwind of fun and energy. We'll be doing all sorts of fabulous dance moves (tutu and all, of course!), singing our hearts out to the most fabulous pop songs, and we'll have some glorious giveaways to keep the sparkle going long after the show ends! Remember my mission, loves – to spread that pink tutu joy far and wide!
