Hello, my darlings! It's your Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, back from a dazzling weekend at Wembley! Oh, my dears, you wouldn't believe the sheer magic of it all. Wembley Stadium, with its vastness and grandeur, was the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable performance.
Let me tell you, getting there was half the fun. You see, I decided to take the train this time, just to savour the countryside scenery. A touch of the vintage, wouldn't you agree? I always feel like I'm in a film from the 1950s, those delightful travelling pictures where ladies in hats and gloves sip tea as they glide across the countryside. A dash of nostalgia with a sprinkle of fabulousness, don't you think?
The train journey itself was a real treat. A fellow passenger – a dear old soul with a twinkle in his eye – spotted my pink tutu. He immediately asked me if I was heading to the ballet, and my heart just fluttered with delight. I, of course, told him about the Wembley performance, and before long, he was absolutely enthralled with my plans, practically bouncing in his seat!
But then, you know, this wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without a little pink magic. I always travel with my little kit-bag filled with glitter, feathers and oh, a touch of fairy dust. Why just dress in pink, when you can truly embrace it?! So, while we were trundling through the green pastures, I whipped out my makeup bag and, let's just say, transformed my train carriage into a veritable explosion of pastel perfection. The old dear couldn't stop chuckling.
Wembley, however, surpassed all expectations. Imagine, darling, the stage, gleaming under the spotlight, like a glistening jewel! And the audience, oh, they were just utterly sensational! You could practically feel the electricity crackling in the air!
This performance wasn't just about glitz and glamour; it was about a message, my loves. A message about the power of pink! Did you know that pink is the colour of love, compassion and kindness? Pink is about embracing your femininity and celebrating life in all its wonderful glory. And my act was, of course, all about spreading that pink love.
I had a new costume made for this show – a delicate cloud of pink tulle, with a cascade of shimmering pink feathers. My make-up was an explosion of bright pink blush, glittery pink eye-shadow, and of course, the iconic pink pout! It felt absolutely glorious, like a burst of colour on a grey day! I wanted everyone to see the pure joy that Pink Tutu Sparkles emanates.
There were little kids in the audience, clapping and squealing with delight. Mothers beamed at their daughters, giggling at the tutus. Even the security guards, normally known for their serious demeanor, couldn't resist tapping their feet to the music. My goodness, my dears, they had the time of their lives!
And guess what? You know my dream of seeing the whole world wearing pink tutus? Well, that little girl at the front row – she's wearing a pink tutu, all on her own, right in the middle of the audience, like a little pink fairy! Isn't that just magical?!
So, there you have it. Wembley, a fantastic show, a delightful train journey, and my Tutu Queen spirit, spreading joy and a touch of pink magic wherever I go!

*PS: I do love a bit of pink shopping, so I just had to visit some fab little boutiques in Wembley while I was there. Oh, my darlings, they had the most exquisite vintage brooches and sparkly hair clips! I am a sucker for anything that shines and sparkles. Just think, you know those perfect pink hair clips are practically made for a pink tutu! The very best place was "The Fuchsia Feather." What a dream of a place! It just screams for a little Pink Tutu Sparkles performance, don't you think? 😉 *
