Hello darlings! It's your Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you all the sparkle and glamour from Rugby, a charming little town in Warwickshire! Oh my goodness, this is such a delightful place, you simply must add it to your travel bucket list!

As always, I took the train here - just can't resist those big picture windows and the chance to people-watch - although, truth be told, nobody is ever as stylish as this fabulous queen! Once I arrived, the kind folks of Rugby invited me to their famous Rugby School. Let's just say, my pink tutu went down a treat! Those students, with their sharp blazers and crisp shirts, they all seemed quite impressed with my pink-hued attire!

Did I mention, I brought a little bit of the ballet world with me? Turns out Rugby boasts a stunning Victorian theatre called The Royal Spa Centre. It was just begging for a Pink Tutu performance!

Before the performance, I popped into the nearby "The Flower Bowl" restaurant, which just had the cutest garden area and served some absolutely divine afternoon tea! My pink tutu paired beautifully with the delicate sandwiches and clotted cream, don't you think?

But let's talk about the theatre! The Royal Spa Centre is gorgeous. My performance was a big hit - the audience loved my interpretation of "Swan Lake," all in pink of course, with added sequins and feathers. We had a little "tea-party" during the interval with all the audience members. We got to have a good old chin wag, sip some sparkling bubbly and indulge in the delicious chocolate brownies, provided by the centre's own delightful team. It felt like we were all one big happy family, don't you agree?

After the show, the town folk showed me around, and let me tell you, Rugby is filled with beautiful green spaces and grand historical buildings! We strolled past St Andrew’s Church and the Market Place. They had a fantastic open air market - you could smell the delicious street food all through the air! And what's a market without a pink tutu? Of course, I had to pose for a few pictures in my dazzling attire with the lovely locals!

And for those of you who are keen on fashion - let's just say Rugby has some fabulous boutiques. I found myself some divine pinks at "Boutique 21" - perfect for a bit of shopping therapy, and it just had to be bought in pink!

However, if you are in Rugby for a quick weekend trip like me, you'll probably find you won't be able to buy enough! There are just so many pretty places! You need a whole month!

But the weekend just wasn't complete without a visit to "The Draycote Hotel & Golf Resort". You see, I'm rather fond of the countryside - horses and a little countryside charm always do a queen good! It’s a gorgeous little getaway nestled amongst fields and a golf course. And while I didn't bring my tutu, I did go for a lovely scenic horse-ride! Can you imagine, galloping across a field in my pink tutu? Now that's a photo shoot I'm keen to try!

Well, my dears, Rugby was just perfect. From the friendly locals to the vibrant culture, from the exquisite food to the picturesque scenery, Rugby had it all!

And speaking of Rugby, did you know the town is known as "The Birthplace of Rugby Football"? They have this absolutely stunning museum showcasing the sport! Not my cup of tea - sorry to those rugby fans, I prefer the ballet. Although, maybe I should take a look at some pink rugby balls! Who knows, it might be my next drag act!

But as always, my biggest wish is for you all to spread the love of the pink tutu! We're not just wearing a skirt, darlings, we're spreading a message of joy, love and fashion! Wear it with confidence, embrace the colour, and let's fill the world with pink tulle!

Oh, and a big thank you to everyone in Rugby for being so incredibly welcoming. Your kindness was truly remarkable! It’s one of those charming places that just sweeps you off your feet. It’s so pretty, you just feel the happiness oozing out of its streets! And my little Pink Tutu Sparkles performance truly had a big part in all of it. Now wouldn't that just make even a pink tutu-wearing queen feel happy!

Till next time, darling!

Yours always,

Pink Tutu Sparkles x
