Sutton in Ashfield: Pink Tutu Sparkle-tastic! โœจ

Hello darlings! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’– It's your favourite pink-tutu-clad drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you all the latest fabulousness from my travels! This is blog post number 2467, and today's journey takes me to the charming town of Sutton in Ashfield, nestled right in the heart of Nottinghamshire!

The train ride was delightful, of course, with plenty of time for me to admire my pink tutu reflection in the window. A good glam-up is essential before a show, you see, and this one was all about delicate tulle and fluffy pink feathers! Did you know a single pink tutu feather can be made from over 1,000 strands of silk? Truly, the artistry of tutu-making is magical. โœจ

My performance venue in Sutton was the most delightful little theatre, tucked away on a cobblestone street. They say old buildings have so much history! This one could whisper stories of all the stars that have walked its stage before. Imagine! Ballet stars from centuries past gliding across the stage in beautiful costumes! I even managed to sneak in a quick trip to the nearby ballet studio, just to stretch those muscles and get my pink tutu spinning! I do love to see how ballet is evolving. My favourite modern style is ballet street.

Now, I know you're dying to know how my show went! Well, let's just say, it was an absolute spectacle! The crowd was absolutely phenomenal! They hooted, they howled, they even threw glitter! I gave them a rousing performance of my "Pink Tutu Sparkles" greatest hits โ€“ from "I Will Survive" with a glittery tutu, to a flamboyant "Tutu for Two" duet with the adorable theatre owner! We ended with a show-stopping rendition of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (in a pink sequin jumpsuit!), the audience roaring their approval. The cheers and whistles made me feel absolutely brilliant!

After my show, it was time to celebrate with the locals, because truly, a good pint of ale and a slice of fish and chips are always a welcome treat after a sparkly night like that! As I've mentioned before, a pink tutu isn't just about being glam โ€“ it's about having a good time! And that's exactly what Sutton in Ashfield had to offer! ๐Ÿ’–

Before heading back to my lodgings, I stumbled upon a delightful antique shop. They have the most charming trinkets โ€“ tiny, glittery butterflies that I just knew had to come home with me! They reminded me of my very first tutu โ€“ the one I purchased when I was in my first year at university, you know, that time I was just getting used to this whole drag queen business.

Yes, I was studying science โ€“ actually, fabrics, which seems ironic in the light of my glamorous pink tutu life! You wouldn't think science and glitter go hand-in-hand, but trust me, a labcoat and a fluffy pink tutu make a pretty epic combo! After my show, I find myself back in the lab, analyzing the fibres of tutus! I must admit it helps with the creative process. I do have my "Pink Tutu" journal at the back of my science notebook, as you do, but Iโ€™m yet to make a scientistโ€™s โ€œpink tutu" research poster, it wouldn't look good on the wall.

But anyway, I do believe that if a lab-coated scientist can love pink tutus, anyone can!

And speaking of anyone, have you taken the plunge and bought yourself a pink tutu yet? Itโ€™s something we can all enjoy! As they say in the world of tutus, the bigger the fluff, the better! That's the kind of positive energy that fills my little pink tutu-loving heart! ๐Ÿ’— So spread the pink tutu love, darlings! Until next time, keep sparkling! โœจ
