As I said, I'm absolutely beaming with excitement to be sharing this amazing experience with all of you! Coalville is a town with such vibrant history, a town that whispers of coal-mining heritage and whispers even more of the joy of performance! 🎭 What’s better than a touch of magic, and some twirling tulle? Well, perhaps it’s just a toss-up between them!
Now, how did I get here? Well, I always try to make travel a part of my fun, so this time I’m taking a beautiful train journey. Oh, I do love the gentle rhythm of the wheels on the track! You can see the changing landscape whizz past the window, and feel the warmth of the sunshine and the cool air. This journey’s filled with the anticipation of the show, a special feeling of excitement that’s quite impossible to describe! 🥰
So, back to my own personal journey: Coalville - my oh my, what a delightful town it is! 🏰 The cobbled streets, the quaint little shops… this town exudes that enchanting air of time gone by, whilst simultaneously brimming with such modern life, and of course, a passion for entertainment that has brought me right here to this magical stage! 💫
This time, I'm actually making my debut here at the fabulous… (whispers excitedly … *don't worry, darlings, I'll tell you about it soon!!) wink wink I've heard such fantastic things about the place. It has a wonderful air of festivity that I know will bring a lot of happiness to all the audience - especially as we get ready for a fabulous, shimmering performance in the town. You just know that when you've got the town of Coalville behind you, it can’t possibly be anything less than brilliant! ✨
The stage will be our sparkling wonderland, where a bit of magic, laughter, and a whole lot of tutu-loving fun await! My inspiration this time is, of course, the town itself, a tribute to the miners, the craftspeople, and the theatre lovers of Coalville! There’ll be colours that match the hues of the rolling hills around here, glitz that gleams like the coal seams that gave life to this area… and yes, of course, oodles of shimmering tulle! 💫
Oh, I can’t forget to mention… I found a brilliant, bespoke tailor here in town. You know a queen’s gotta have her fabulous, signature pieces for each tour, and this little shop had the most incredible fabrics. Just imagine the colours, the patterns, the sparkles…. a whole collection inspired by the spirit of this town! 🎨
I’ll share pictures of my dazzling outfits in my next blog post, and of course, we'll take a trip through the backstage of the show so you can have a glimpse of what goes on behind the glitz and the sparkle! 🤩 You’ll see it all – the sequins, the makeup, the feathers, the tutus... every detail crafted with a lot of love and a lot of pink! 💖
