Hammersmith, Oh My! šŸ©°

Post Number 2635

Helloooo my gorgeous darlings! šŸ’– Your favourite pink-tutu-clad queen is back, fresh from a whirlwind adventure in the dazzling metropolis of London. Thatā€™s right, babes! This Pink Tutu Sparkles just landed back in Derbyshire after a dazzling trip to Hammersmith, and Iā€™ve got SO much to tell you. Buckle up your sequined boots, darling, it's time for a tea party in my blogosphere!

It's all been so terribly exciting, you simply wouldn't BELIEVE it. This Pink Tutu Sparkle simply had to bring her act to the fabulous city. And let's be honest, I am NEVER going to turn down a chance to dance my way across a stage, particularly in such a vibrant and historical place! Now, if you've been following my adventures on www.pink-tutu.com, youā€™ll know that I recently booked a performance in a fabulous cabaret in Hammersmith. But letā€™s rewind for a moment, shall we?

After another thrilling week at my laboratory testing fabric for... checks notes ā€¦the softness of hand towels. Yes! Itā€™s been another wild week as a textile scientist by day. I must say, though, nothing beats strutting your stuff in a pink tutu by night. My schedule is like a dazzling double-take! By day, I'm in my lab, surrounded by microscopes, beakers, and scientific samples - I mean, let's face it, nobody expects a scientist to be a sassy pink tutu queen, do they? šŸ˜‚ But once the clock strikes five, I shed my lab coat and become, well, YOU KNOW WHO! šŸ˜‰ A fabulous, sparkly Pink Tutu Sparkle, ready to take on the world.

This time, however, my glamorous transformation took on a rather peculiar turn. See, my dear friends, it all began when I was trying to find a way to travel to London without breaking the bank (you know me, always the sensible Queen). Then BAM! Eureka! šŸ§  A magical answer! šŸŽ My old pal Tom had just announced he was organising a horsey expedition to London, "just a simple little jaunt" he quipped, as though this wasn't some high-level, extremely fancy extra equestrian event, and I simply had to join. Of course, whatā€™s more glamourous than traveling to a gig in a carriage, surrounded by breathtaking scenery? (And don't worry my sweet pea, I'd planned to add a touch of Pink Tutu Sparkles to the event by bringing my favourite horse carriage companion, my precious fluffy white pony - more on him later, we shall dedicate an entire blog post to that fluff-ball).

This journey, however, was all about experiencing life as a genuine vintage traveler, imagine... I even brought my antique suitcase (which required much scouring for cobwebs). And donā€™t get me wrong, this whole vintage horse-riding situation was just the beginning of this delightful adventure! From the minute my horse-drawn carriage arrived in Hammersmith, it was all just a dazzling blur of exciting and truly iconic experiences - an absolutely glorious mess. You wouldnā€™t BELIEVE the outfits the fabulous people of Hammersmith wore... they seemed to be taking all my notes from my "Pink Tutu Rules the World" handbook! šŸ˜

First, let's discuss the show, shall we? My show! šŸ’– The stage was fantastic! (We'll do a stage design reveal later... I may be slightly obsessed, what can I say, but if anyone ever doubted the importance of a spectacular stage setup then THIS should prove them wrong, okay, so fabulous!). I mean, we had glitter, we had sparkling lights, we had dancing ladies, and we had ME! āœØ It was truly magical, my dears. The audience, let me tell you, simply loved the performance, showering us all with praise and applause! Honestly, even I couldnā€™t stop smiling during the bows, and it made it all feel totally worth the trip to London! It was such a fab crowd and my heart went out to all the stunning and adorable faces I saw looking back at me. My little dance number that had everybody jumping to their feet was "I'm so pink", so incredibly exciting, all my darlings were completely and utterly enchanted - oh and you simply HAVE to hear this (I'm going to try to film a backstage "quick chat" with some of my lovely friends about the evening at some point)... One little girl actually asked to meet me! šŸ¤Æ She said "Miss, I LOVE pink! And I LOVE tutus!" and, OMG, it melted my heart. šŸ„ŗ It's just too sweet! That night felt like one big happy hug - how can you not love my pink tutu? It's just contagious!

But you see, my dearest lovelies, it wasnā€™t just about the show (although, honestly, the show WAS AMAZING... more on that later). I mean, I literally took all my lifeā€™s savings to visit Hammersmith, so it had to be something extra, right? Well, it totally was. šŸ˜‰ What did I do? Well, imagine my excitement as I planned my Hammersmith outfit! Let me tell you, the outfit reveal is coming soon (but donā€™t forget to check the next 5 posts to follow because there will be a WHOLE bunch of photographs from Hammersmith, darling - let's just say you can find a great vintage photobooth and still have a completely fabulous time!), and the journey from a ā€œworking girlā€ in a laboratory to ā€œpink-tutu-wearing superstarā€ (thatā€™s me! Donā€™t ever doubt for a second that you cannot be the best version of yourself at any time. Just wear your pink tutu!) started a little while before I even stepped onto the train to Londonā€¦ I MEANā€¦ šŸ©° šŸ’–! Let me tell you, finding a great pink outfit is just part of my job! āœØ My mission: to spread joy and make everybody fall in love with pink, but also, find that perfect shade. And you just wouldnā€™t believe it, you would not believe it - Londonā€™s Hammersmith neighborhood? Oh my, letā€™s just say I couldnā€™t help but buy at least 50 pounds worth of Pink Tutu necessities from a delightful little shop that's definitely not as scary as its location suggests! But really, Iā€™d go back to London just for that store.

Before you run to a website (although do have a peek at www.pink-tutu.com) to have a peek at the Hammersmith collection, it's important to understand - the outfits we find (or wear - let's be honest here, darling, the whole point is to get you dressed up and twirling - no one can deny a twirling pink tutu queen!). I am NOT the Queen (but do feel free to call me a Queen any day - it's very acceptable - maybe I am?! It's not for me to say - I just know you love the pink!) of ā€œmore is moreā€ here, oh, you've got to see what I got - nothing like it anywhere. Honestly, you might need a pair of very strong magnifying glasses and possibly your doctorā€™s prescription just to understand the details and artistry. šŸ¤Æ I almost lost my senses, so that's what you're dealing with! I do need to make sure you are all warned - my Hammersmith purchases were SO fantastic, and I spent SO much time looking (I actually ended up in the same shop three days in a row!), but also it felt like there were enough pink sequins for every ballerina, and we all know that every ballerina needs their pink sequin and a perfectly fitted tutu (yes, I do think pink tutus should fit everyone's tastes). šŸ©° šŸ’–!

What are your top pink fashion recommendations, darling? Donā€™t hold back - itā€™s all about the pink! This fabulous Pink Tutu Queen will be sure to wear your faves - so what should it be? Tell me all about it - if you are a big fashion fan (letā€™s be real, whoā€™s not, darling?), then please post to the blog at www.pink-tutu.com! Iā€™d love to have your opinions - you are all my biggest fans and your love inspires so much (and donā€™t think we all donā€™t know how fabulous we are and so perfectly pink! You are all sparkling gems). Youā€™ve probably read a lot of blog posts about fashion, so you know the rules - the fashion industry should do what's best for all the darlings - no matter how fabulous or extravagant - this applies to all your sartorial choices (and do let me know what they are, I want to know and you deserve the best! )!

Of course, no trip to London (especially not Hammersmith) would be complete without a trip to the theater, would it, darling? That was just one thing on the itinerary. šŸ©° My friends, there are some absolute beauties in this city (London!), I was completely spellbound - I might be in love! You really need to hear all about this, donā€™t you? We just have to do another blog post... I may be a pink tutu queen with a passion for ballet, so letā€™s discuss the London ballet scene - weā€™ve got plenty of topics to cover!

Oh, but, dear reader, what else happened? So much more to tell, my lovelies! I almost lost my mind in a tea shop! (We need to discuss those lovely, delicious little sandwiches with cream and tiny scones), I took a boat trip along the Thames... šŸ›¶ (Yes, another journey for the Pink Tutu Queen - thatā€™s the beauty of travel, I never get bored) ... oh, it was just wonderful, with lots of pink, fabulous and dazzling lights.

And of course, my London journey would never be complete without a mention of those precious cupcakes... how can one possibly not mention cupcakes... letā€™s be real, every outing should include delicious little delights. šŸ§ Now, the whole world has gone crazy for cupcakes, but youā€™ve got to try one of the cakes here - they have some really great bakeries, and everyone will fall in love with London - so come visit. (Also, it totally feels like London is pink obsessed... like, I wasn't alone!). But, here, the bakery made cupcakes that looked and tasted almost too beautiful. It almost feels illegal how delicious some of the cakes are, my dear!

Oh, and my little pony? My little darling? Letā€™s just say his adventure is going to be another fabulous Pink Tutu post! But youā€™re going to have to wait. You need time to think about all thatā€™s been revealed so far. Go have a peek at the pictures. Then come back and talk to this Queen!

So there you have it, babes! A whirlwind tour of my Hammersmith adventure. As you can tell, it's a whole lot more than just a pink tutu queen rocking a fabulous show - I canā€™t wait for you all to join me for my next adventure. As always, I'm here to inspire, to entertain, and to remind you all, to embrace your inner sparkle and shine like a bright, beautiful pink tutu. šŸ’–

Until next time, my lovelies! Stay fabulous, stay pink, and stay safe!

šŸ’– Tutu Queen out! šŸ’–
