Well, darlings, your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles is back in the big time! I’ve just landed in the fabulous city of Boston, and I'm already feeling the vibes of this dynamic metropolis. And wouldn’t you know it, it's just as I predicted: Boston is positively radiating with the kind of vibrant, energetic spirit that a Pink Tutu Sparkles show simply can’t resist!
I'm a little bit weary from my journey, let's just say I’ve been putting in some serious tutu mileage recently. As you know, darlings, a queen's got to get her glam on and for my current world tour, well, it’s gotta be done in style, and I mean STYLE. That’s why this time I’m travelling in… the lap of luxury… on a horse! Well, almost. I actually took a gorgeous little private train with my new darling bestie - I mean he's just divine, right? So we arrived in a lovely pink-hued cloud of joy (and some seriously impressive fumes from that antique train engine) and got whisked straight off to the Boston Ballet headquarters. The Boston Ballet? The Boston Ballet, yes, darling!
So naturally, a Pink Tutu Sparkles needs to pay her respects to the ultimate, the most fabulous purveyors of tutus known to mankind. But they have the best tutus… I mean the absolute BEST tutus, I’m just getting started but the ballet is really taking my breath away! Honestly, my head is in the clouds just thinking about all the incredible dance talent I’m going to be witnessing this weekend - not to mention, maybe a bit of a cheeky peek backstage - one must be strategic in these matters, ahem.
Before I dive into all the delicious details, I simply must say… I absolutely adore the vibe of Boston - oh it’s so glamorous! There’s a real sophistication here - an elegance - and everyone seems to be wearing such fabulous frocks, so effortlessly put together - It's chic but with a hint of the sassy, just like yours truly, darling! It makes this tutu queen so happy, seeing all these darling ladies working that high fashion flair! I have to be honest… I was thinking it's gonna be tough to keep up but this pink-hued fashion enthusiast is always ready for a good sartorial challenge. It's what we do, don't you agree?
My heart's still doing a little cha-cha at the sheer excitement of my time here. I mean, a ballet capital, surrounded by such fabulous people... this girl can practically taste the fun and adventure! And I couldn't resist picking up a gorgeous new blush pink sequined tutu for this tour - It's going to make all the Boston beauties swoon, I just know it!
It's a funny thing, really. Ever since my college days - those golden days of science and surreptitious late-night tutus, you know the drill! – I've been hooked on the thrill of it all. But here in Boston, amidst these lovely little boutiques and designer havens, I found this adorable vintage pink tutu with tiny, tiny glittering silver sequins! You know, I’m never going to get rid of it. It's like a magical charm. A little piece of this vibrant city… It's definitely going on my pink tutu pilgrimage collection!
But I’m not here just for the ballet, darling! As much as I adore a perfectly-pirouetted plié, there's a serious dance party planned! Tonight, I'm gonna be giving Boston’s fabulous downtown club scene a real Pink Tutu Sparkles makeover. Don't you worry - I’ve packed a selection of sparkling delights in the back of my, well, my travel-van (you gotta be practical sometimes, you know!) and I’m ready to show Boston what Pink Tutu Sparkle’s brand of ‘dancing queen' really looks like!
