First things first, let’s talk transport. I absolutely adore train travel. It’s so elegant, so refined, and it allows me to admire the scenery while basking in the luxurious comfort of first-class. (I know, I'm a little posh, but I work hard for it! 😜)
Speaking of posh, let me tell you, Letchworth Garden City is positively swanky! The cobbled streets are like stepping back in time, the floral displays are magnificent, and the Victorian architecture is just divine. This place is brimming with charm!
Now, I couldn’t possibly travel without my trusty wardrobe, could I? Packed to the brim with the most divine outfits, this pink-tutu-clad queen was ready to bring the sparkle. A sequined pink bomber jacket paired with a blush pink tulle tutu – just a hint of whimsy, with a touch of sass! I’ve been dreaming about showcasing this ensemble all week! ✨
Upon arrival, I had to do a little window shopping. The local boutiques are an absolute treasure trove. Imagine, darling, shops brimming with vintage treasures, handcrafted trinkets, and all the glitter you could ever need! Needless to say, my bank account took a bit of a hit, but I was rewarded with the most fabulous scarf and a pair of sequined shoes! It was a must, darling, a MUST! 💖
This journey wouldn't be complete without some delicious food. We dined like royalty, enjoying the most scrumptious Afternoon Tea – finger sandwiches, delicate pastries, and of course, bottomless tea! Yum! 😋
The evening brought the ultimate highlight. A captivating performance at the local theatre! Letchworth, you are brimming with talent, and this performance had me spellbound. The ballet dancers were graceful and elegant, moving with a precision that simply took my breath away. Ballet, darling, it’s just the purest form of artistic expression. And of course, there was not a pink tutu in sight (much to my dismay!). But fret not, my pink-tutu-wearing darlings, this queen always brings her own fabulous touch. 🤩
Let’s chat about the little details. Letchworth, your floral displays are pure artistry. From the vibrant blooms adorning the flower shops to the overflowing planters in the community garden, there was colour everywhere I looked. Truly a sight to behold.
The vibe here is so friendly, so welcoming. I even bumped into a lovely lady at the park, her tiny Yorkie sporting a pink bow tie, darling! You can't tell me this wasn't meant to be! I believe in destiny! 🥰
Before I leave you, dear reader, I must share this little secret. Letchworth has the most adorable antique shops I've ever seen! The scent of old books, vintage lace, and dusty treasures had me entranced! I simply had to snag a porcelain ballerina figurine – the perfect pink-tutu-themed souvenir! 🎀
