Hello darlings! It's your TutuQueen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with you for post number 2943! Oh, how I love a good title! 😉 It just makes you wanna click, doesn't it? Now, grab a cuppa, settle in, and get ready for a tale of glitz, glamour, and – of course – tutus!
Feltham was a right proper treat this week, my lovelies! This charming little town (it does have a Tesco, so that's something!), has got to be one of my new fave places in the South-East. The whole vibe was pure joy. Now, as we all know, a Pink Tutu Sparkles adventure always starts with the journey. This time I opted for a scenic train ride – because who needs the stress of driving when you've got glorious views? 🚂 I had my head tucked into a copy of the ballet magazine "Dance!" (and yes, I know I read all the fashion features, but hey, the ballet section's a good read, alright?!) when a little fella spotted my sparkly tote bag and practically leapt out of his seat with delight.
"Is that a princess bag?" He squeaked, and I practically melted. He was only about four, and already he was embracing all things fabulous! So I just HAD to get him involved, darling. We shared my pink pom-pom keychain and, yes, he even got a little twirl with my bag! It's the small gestures, darlings! 😉
Now, Feltham wasn't exactly a ballet mecca, but don't worry, it was still fabulous! I started the day with a visit to a local children's playgroup, just to spread some tutu magic. 👶 And let me tell you, those toddlers went wild! Imagine a whole room filled with tiny human beings wearing pink tutus, all trying to perform pirouettes with wobbly legs. It was absolutely heart-meltingly adorable. 😭
After that, it was time for a proper dance-a-thon at Feltham Library. They have the BEST lighting! So I held a little 'Tutu Workshop', where we talked all about finding the perfect tutu, and then did some freestyle twirling! Everyone got to embrace their inner sparkly ballerina – from a group of teenage girls to a gentleman named Kevin, who revealed a hidden passion for pirouettes. Don't get me wrong, Kev was an amazing twirler, he really was! You wouldn't believe how well he took to it!
You might be thinking, "Alex, is Feltham actually that exciting?" And the answer, darling, is an emphatic, "ABSOLUTELY!" We topped off the day with a "Pink Tutu Picnic" at the local park. A feast of delicious goodies, a little outdoor disco, and – of course – more tutus. That's right, the locals were invited to bring their own tutus to the picnic and show off their inner Pink Tutu Sparkle! Honestly, Feltham, you know how to have a good time!
As the day drew to a close, I bid farewell to Feltham, filled with an immense sense of joy and a heart full of twirling goodness. You know what they say, darling: Life is better with tutus! 😉
And, like always, darling, a huge shoutout to my lovely assistants. It truly takes a village, or at least a fab little team! We've got The Fairy Godmother (and yes, her name really is Sue), who takes care of the costumes, and The Tartan Tart, who does a magnificent job at hair and makeup! 💖 You ladies rock my world!

I’m a proper scientist! By night, well, I'm Pink Tutu Sparkles! I am all about embracing both sides of myself! And honestly, what's more empowering than taking the stage in a pink tutu and defying any limiting stereotypes? I studied chemistry – believe me, you can do whatever your heart desires! 💖
