Hello, my gorgeous darlings! It's your Tutu Queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, fresh off the train and ready to paint Taunton pink! As you know, I live for those train journeys, watching the countryside whizz by – a kaleidoscope of greens, blues and browns, perfect inspiration for my next dazzling creation! 🚂🌳🏞️
Speaking of creations, did you see my new sequined pink tutu?! A shimmering masterpiece, custom-made by yours truly, naturally! I swear, it sparkles more than the sun on a clear summer's day! I just can't help but add more sparkles – the more, the merrier, I say! ✨💖 And believe me, it was a showstopper when I performed in my sparkly pink paradise last night at the lovely, little Theatre Royal in Taunton.
Now, I don't want to brag, but the crowd was mesmerized. From the moment I sashayed onto the stage in my sequined glory, I had them spellbound. You could practically see the pink sparkles shooting off my tutu and onto their faces, illuminating their smiles and giggles. You could practically feel the love radiating from the room! I love seeing the joy my performance brings, that pure, unadulterated love of life that we all have inside of us.
Oh, before I forget, a big shout-out to my fellow theatre queens and kings who rocked the stage! They were all fantastic and had the audience howling with laughter and cheering like crazy. And the music? Well, it was pure joy, transporting everyone into a world of twirling and shimmering fun. 🎤🎶💃🕺
And I have to tell you, the costumes! Talk about colourful! I loved seeing the sequins, the feathers, the sparkly crowns – it was a true feast for the eyes! I know the dress rehearsals took forever, with all the feather dust flying about like a snowstorm! It felt like I was back at university – that year I volunteered for the fashion society's charity fundraising event, that's where my love of sequins truly began, and naturally, so did my love for pink! The whole experience really fuelled my passion for dazzling fashion. Who knew a humble science student with a penchant for dancing would end up performing on stage in sequins, let alone in a bright pink tutu? 🤣
I even met some incredible fans at the show! They all wore their own pink tutus in their own special way, just how I like it! I gave some little tutorials, on twirling and how to get the perfect glitter and glamour look for their own tutus! I taught them how to strut, shimmy and sashay like the professionals – they were natural stars! 🩰💫🤩
Now, darling, we mustn’t forget, it's not just about performing – it's also about the journey! And the journey from Derbyshire to Taunton by train was fabulous, you simply couldn't wish for a prettier landscape to see on your travels. So much colour! My new pink sequin tutu, complete with an exquisite feathered headband, caused a flurry of smiles as I journeyed in my little private bubble of pink paradise. 🎀🌸
And to make the day even more fabulous, I decided to take a ride on the beautiful vintage carousel at the town square! It was all very fairground, vintage, retro, fabulous and… PINK, of course! 🎠💖 It felt so freeing, spinning around like a sparkly fairy, the laughter and joy swirling around me like magic. I may have gone slightly pinker in the face from the ride – maybe a little too much twirling?! I swear, I felt like a child again, lost in a world of joy and laughter! 🎠🥳💖
Speaking of twirling and feeling like a child, I had to visit the beautiful Somerset County Cricket Club to pay homage to the glorious history of this county, to the elegant elegance and twirling grace of the game itself! Oh, the memories it evoked! I spent some time exploring the ground, the green lush grass reminding me of those early days of ballet – twirling and prancing around like a graceful swan in the middle of a verdant park! And then there was the pink flower garden… a splash of pink colour right there in the heart of the field, so dreamy and pink, and so appropriate for a Tutu Queen. 💖 🌸
I'll be sure to take another look around the gorgeous city of Taunton today. Who knows what kind of fabulous pink treasures I'll find! But first, breakfast at my favourite coffee shop with my tutu pals and some much-needed retail therapy! My dress needs an extra splash of pink to help me truly paint this beautiful town pink. 💕🛍️👠 Oh, how I adore fashion! From shimmering sequins to delicate ruffles and lace – my favourite designers certainly know how to make a Tutu Queen feel radiant! 👗
