Middleton, Middleton, Middleton! 🩰💖 (Post #2999)

Hello my darling tutu-loving lovelies! It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back from a whirlwind trip to the charming town of Middleton. Now, you know I love a good journey, and this one was no different. Let me tell you, Middleton, darling, you are simply enchanting! It’s the kind of place where every cobblestone whispers stories and every shop window sparkles with magic. But before we dive into the dazzling delights of Middleton, let’s spill the tea on my epic journey.

I’ll be honest, babes, getting there was quite an adventure. I decided to forgo the mundane bus ride and embrace my inner child with a journey by horse! I'm talking a stately mare, decked out in pink ribbons (because what else would she wear, right?) pulling a cart fit for a princess. The gentle breeze on my face, the sun sparkling on her glossy coat - it was pure bliss! I arrived in Middleton like a proper fairytale heroine. (It helps, of course, that I was wearing a pink tutu - duh!).

But enough about my epic entrance! Middleton was like a ballet class on sugar rush! The shops were positively bursting with vintage treasures – imagine, my loves, a dress shop crammed full of sparkling, satin, frocks, all in shades of rose and peach! Oh, the possibilities! (And you just know I had to purchase a pink feathered boa, it simply wouldn't do to not wear something fabulous to the theatre, right? )

Now, darling, what's a tutu-clad diva to do in a charming town like Middleton? Why, it's all about soaking up the culture, of course! I had to catch the ballet show at the theatre. You wouldn’t believe the performance! The dancers were pure magic. I swear, there was one ballerina who twirled for what felt like an eternity, but her every move was perfection! As always, my heart sang along, and my own tutu (oh, it was the one with the sequinned stars - I looked simply fabulous) nearly levitated in its joy.

After the show, it was a proper feast fit for a queen - fluffy scones with clotted cream and the most decadent slice of Victoria Sponge. Then, it was off to the pub to mingle with the locals! And let me tell you, they were a right riot! It felt like a proper “old school” pub with good beer and laughter flowing as freely as the ale. The regulars loved my pink tutu, and they all had a good chuckle when I tried to do a few twirls in the middle of the dance floor. Honestly, the whole night was absolutely lovely!

But before you think Middleton was just about dancing and eating, I have to tell you about my big discovery - the little flower stall just around the corner from the town square. Darling, they had the most incredible blooms – lilies, roses, sunflowers, you name it! You just know I had to grab myself a huge bouquet of pink lilies. I am telling you, I was positively blooming by the end of my Middleton trip!

The journey back to Derbyshire was much quieter. This time, I went by train – so civilized! I took a window seat, watched the countryside drift by and thought about how every town, like every tutu, is unique and beautiful. I was filled with inspiration! So many tutu-licious ideas brewing in my little mind! Maybe next time I’ll bring some friends with me and set up a mini tutu-making workshop at a market? I haven’t decided yet. I’m a creative type, after all, and inspiration hits me whenever it feels like it.

Now, if you are still reading, dear ones, it means you’re part of the tutu club, the fabulous pink squad, the one that understands that life is about dancing to your own beat, wearing your fabulous pink tutus with pride! If you’re thinking about venturing to Middleton yourself, I implore you: do it! The little joys in life are the big things – the fresh air, the laughter, the sense of belonging!

Now, I’m off to dream of sequined dreams and pink-tutu filled possibilities! Until next time, darlings, remember to wear your sparkle and keep that tutu attitude shining bright. 💖
