Yes, this fabulous queen has traded the glitzy lights of London's West End for the charm of this quaint English town - and as always, my trusty pink tutu and a suitcase full of sparkles are in tow! 💖
Post Number 3046! It's been a wild ride getting to this number - I can't believe you've all been with me every step of the way. I truly cherish every single one of you, and hope I continue to bring a little sparkle and pink into your days.
This journey is extra special, though. Abingdon holds a place in my heart as the setting of my first real pink tutu experience. Back in the day, my days were filled with lab coats and bubbling beakers (science is so cool, you guys!), but my nights were all about graceful leaps and twirls in the university ballet club. It was at one of those club fundraisers that fate intervened, handing me a pink tutu for the night. Let's just say it changed my world! That magical evening made me realise my destiny was to bring tutus to the world, to show everyone that a sprinkle of pink magic can uplift anyone's mood.
Fast forward a few years, and I’m still rocking those pink tutus! It was always the plan, wasn’t it? Now I get to chase my passion, embracing the joy of the stage, the energy of a captivated audience, and the excitement of travel! Who'd have thought that a lab rat would be turning heads in pink tutus all over the country? Life's full of surprises, dears!
And just like every adventure, this trip wouldn't be complete without a splash of Pink Tutu Style. For this Abingdon extravaganza, I’m channeling a vintage Parisian ballerina! Think: delicate ruffles, soft pastel pinks, and a touch of whimsical charm - a tutu fit for a princess of the stage, if I may say so myself!
Speaking of fabulous adventures, the journey to Abingdon was an absolute treat. I'm quite the romantic at heart and a huge fan of classic train travel. I've even got my eye on an old fashioned steam train - a truly elegant experience! Perhaps next trip will involve a horse and carriage instead... or maybe I'll ride a unicorn? Just imagining! 🦄
But the journey itself wasn't the only highlight. Upon arriving in Abingdon, I was completely charmed by the bustling town centre. Imagine charming independent shops bursting with colour and the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods, quaint cafes overflowing with laughter, and the most magnificent library, boasting floor-to-ceiling shelves and shelves of timeless stories... Abingdon's the kind of town that whisks you back to a simpler time.
The Sparkles Continue
Tonight's show at the local fairground promises to be an explosion of pink, glitter, and twirls. I can already picture it - the music pumping, the crowd cheering, and those twirling lights illuminating the sky... it's a sight that never gets old, and the feeling of a thousand pairs of eyes on me... It truly is a beautiful thing.
But tonight’s excitement doesn't end there! The highlight of the whole trip is going to be a special ballet class held in a beautiful old church hall. I love getting a chance to explore different performance spaces, and I've been looking forward to getting back in those ballet shoes and dancing on the gorgeous old wooden floor of this charming hall. Imagine, my darling! A mix of modern and classical, just a touch of dramatic, and a splash of the pink magic you all know and love! This performance is going to be a delightful explosion of twirling, spinning, and a little bit of pink perfection! 💖
This trip has truly been a magical experience, and it reminds me why I love my life! Whether I'm twirling in the studio, spreading pink magic on the stage, or just sipping a cup of tea in a charming café, I wouldn't trade these moments for the world! 💖
