It's all thanks to the lovely folks at the Rhyl Pavilion who invited me to perform in their annual summer spectacular. You know I couldn't resist a chance to spread the Pink Tutu love to a seaside town! I've got my glitter cannons primed, my feather boas ready to twirl, and a pink sequined swimsuit hidden under this delightful floral-printed tulle masterpiece. (More about that fabulousness later!)
Now, don't you worry, my dear readers, this isn't just about my glamorous arrival in Rhyl. It's also about the journey! You know me, I love a good train ride. All those hours staring at fibres and synthetics… I'm channelling that scientific mind into creating a totally unique act that combines the science of fabric with the art of ballet. A little bit of technical magic, with a touch of sheer pink brilliance.

Okay, so I've just arrived at the station, and wowzers, it's truly a seaside paradise! This place is bursting with colour and character – a kaleidoscope of beach huts, ice cream vans, and the most charming pier I've ever seen. My camera is ready, so expect some Insta-worthy pics of Pink Tutu Sparkles doing a pirouette by the seaside later on!
My darling readers, I've just found the most gorgeous pink flamingo print scarf for my suitcase! Think pastel pinks and feathers, with a touch of tropical magic. A flamingo is simply the most divine symbol of my passion – a touch of elegant pink that adds just the right amount of whimsy to any outfit.
Oh, and my lovelies, I'm about to reveal a secret: this Pink Tutu Sparkles has a brand-new travel ritual! It's my latest way to stay positive, productive and sparkly while I'm on the road. You see, whenever I check into a hotel room, I instantly whip out my portable Bluetooth speaker and put on a soundtrack that sets the mood. This evening, I’m playing "The Swan Lake" soundtrack.
The moment those classical tunes start filling the air, I'm ready to face any performance with confidence. Not only that, my new room has the most fabulous bay view, and a pink-hued balcony for the perfect post-show drinks. This is what dreams are made of, darlings!
Performance Day: Lights, Camera, Sparkle! ✨
It’s show day, and Rhyl, you've already captured my heart! This place is so full of energy, colour, and kindness! The Pavilion theatre is like stepping back in time – with charming Victorian architecture, a magnificent stage, and an audience full of smiling faces. The excitement in the air is absolutely electric.
It’s not long before the lights come up, and Pink Tutu Sparkles is ready to take the stage! It’s always the most amazing feeling, being in the spotlight and hearing the applause of the crowd. The energy they bring is intoxicating.
Of course, no Pink Tutu Sparkles show is complete without some tutus, so this evening is all about twirls, dips, and pirouettes. It's a night of fun and fantasy, and it’s going to be a spectacular event.
I've also prepared a new ballet number – a dance filled with joy and pink-tastic elegance. The dance has become one of my absolute favourite pieces to perform – it brings all the glamour of ballet to my own drag world. Oh, and the audience loved it, with their cheers at the end bringing happy tears to my sparkly eyes. I mean, it’s not every day I make a seaside audience go wild!
Shopping Time: Retail Therapy and Tutu Tales 🛍️
Speaking of “wild”, darlings, let’s talk about shopping! After the performance, I'm going on a little spree around the town’s adorable boutique shops.
You know, Rhyl's full of little hidden treasures. A shop tucked into a corner on the high street caught my eye, and it was an absolute explosion of color! Pink sequins, velvet bags, floral dresses – they had it all!
And guess what I found?! It’s so perfectly Pink Tutu Sparkles! You’re going to love this: it's a flamingo feather boa, but this time with sparkly sequins woven into it. You know me, darlings, it's got to be pink and sparkly, and this boa is perfection! It even comes with a matching flamingo feather hairpiece that is absolutely divine!
