Nottingham Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles Takes on the Midlands! 💖✨

Hello darlings, it's your favourite pink-loving, tutu-twirling diva, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another sparkling update from the road! ✨ Today's post marks blog number 3101, which means I'm well and truly addicted to sharing my fabulous life with you. 💖

This week, I'm venturing into the heart of the Midlands – the gorgeous city of Nottingham! 🚂 A friend told me about this fabulous little festival they have, right in the centre, packed with street performances, live music, and tons of friendly faces. It’s basically made for a girl like me! 😍

I love the vibe here in Nottingham – a real sense of community spirit. They love their theatre here too! Just last week, I popped into the Theatre Royal Nottingham to catch a production of "The Nutcracker," which had me all twirling in my seat. The gorgeous set design, the brilliant dancers – I felt like a ballerina myself, even if I was in a sparkly pink tutu rather than a traditional costume. 😉

This trip is all about embracing my inner "Pink Tutu Tourist," and I’ve already had a whirlwind day exploring the city! 👒

My first stop was Lace Market Square – a real gem of a place with historic buildings and stunning cobbled streets. It’s like stepping into a fairytale! ✨ They have a quirky little tea room called "The Teacup" that I’m planning to check out tomorrow. Imagine – tea, scones, and a tutu-filled tea party! Perfection. 🍰

Of course, no visit to Nottingham is complete without a trip to the National Justice Museum! This place is like a walk through history – they’ve got all kinds of fascinating exhibitions, and you can even check out the old courtrooms! 🏛️ As I said, a real history buff here!

This evening, I’m excited to see a street theatre show by a local dance troupe – a real treat! 🎭 I hear it's inspired by some of Nottingham's folklore, and I'm absolutely itching to see how they bring the stories to life!

The best thing about Nottingham, though, is that it’s utterly bursting with charm! It's got a unique kind of character that I just love. 💖 There's this fabulous street called Hockley – it’s like a vibrant little hive of creative activity. There's independent boutiques selling unique clothing, vintage furniture, and even some amazing jewellery shops that have been turning heads in this beautiful city!

Of course, as a diehard lover of everything pink, I couldn’t resist visiting a few of Nottingham’s charming vintage shops! One of them had an absolutely spectacular collection of vintage fabrics and lace – I was in my element! I snapped up a few beautiful pieces for my collection! You’ll see them on the Pink-Tutu.com blog very soon! 💖

You know what I’m always on the lookout for? More amazing pink tutus! I'm never afraid to put myself out there, and after a little investigation, I found this fantastic vintage store right in the heart of Nottingham that sells tutus galore! Honestly, the collection was just incredible – everything from soft tulle to glittering sequins. It was practically an overload of tutus! 😉

To be completely honest, I was absolutely delighted by this gorgeous vintage store – a girl after my own heart! The lovely owner had a true passion for fashion history, and I had a truly amazing time delving into her beautiful collections. I ended up purchasing a divine pastel pink tulle tutu that’s so light and fluffy, and a classic black tutu with gorgeous embellishments. You guys, let me tell you, these beauties are gonna be so fun for future performances! 😍

Speaking of which – tomorrow, I’ll be dazzling the crowd at Nottingham’s iconic City Hall! ✨ The festival’s got this open-air stage, and I'm going to be putting on a spectacular performance that's sure to make everyone twirl! Get ready to see some seriously fabulous routines, lots of shimmering glitter, and, of course, an abundance of pink tutus!

Speaking of my favourite colour… I’m sure you’re wondering about my fabulous pink outfit. Well, this weekend, I'm all about bright and bold, and you bet I’m rocking a shimmering pink sequined dress – the kind of dress that truly commands attention! ✨

Then I've layered it with my very own vintage tulle tutu, and I’m rocking a beautiful pastel pink feather boa. Oh, and I simply couldn't resist some dazzling pink eyeshadow! The key, as always, is to embrace your inner sparkle, be yourself, and never, ever shy away from pink! 😉

Honestly, every day in Nottingham feels like a fabulous celebration. It’s such a vibrant place, and I’m loving the warmth of the people here.

Oh, and let’s talk about food! This city knows its food. Just this morning, I discovered a cute little cafe called "The Bread & Butter Bakery" which is run by the most adorable baker I’ve met in ages. She was absolutely buzzing with enthusiasm, and I devoured a fresh strawberry and cream cupcake, along with a hot cup of tea! That sugar rush is perfect for dancing! 😂

Tomorrow, I’m trying the city’s famous ‘Robin Hood Pie.’ Have you had it, darlings? The rumour on the street is that they’re absolutely delicious! Tell me your fave pie recommendations in the comments below! 😉

Right, darlings, I have a city to explore, a stage to conquer, and, of course, lots of pink tutus to show off! I’ll be posting updates about my Nottingham adventure right here on my blog, so keep checking back for all the sparkle and fun. 💖

Until then, stay glamorous and always remember, “Every day is a day to wear a pink tutu!” 💖✨

XOXO,

Pink Tutu Sparkles
