As you know, darling, my travels are always a whirlwind of fun, fashion, and of course, a liberal sprinkling of pink! 💖 This time, I chose to travel in style – by horse! Yes, my lovelies, I traded in the train for a majestic steed and had the most delightful time trotting through the countryside. It's all about embracing the fairytale element, you see? 🎠
Before I arrived in Wellingborough, I spent a day in London, taking in a stunning ballet performance at the Royal Opera House. Oh, the grace, the elegance, the sheer beauty of it all! It's a passion of mine, darling – ballet. It inspires me, it pushes me to be my best, to express myself through movement, and it definitely gives me all sorts of ideas for my drag shows! 🩰
Now, you may be thinking, "Alex, how on earth do you fit all those gorgeous outfits in your suitcase?" Well, my darlings, it's all about strategic packing. My secret? My tutu's are carefully rolled, the tulle perfectly arranged so they don't get squashed, and my sequinned jackets are hung on a custom-made, oh-so-stylish hanger – pink, naturally. 😊
The town of Wellingborough, it turned out, is a haven for pink-lovers like myself! I saw so many vibrant pink doors, charming pink shopfronts, and even a whole street dedicated to selling beautiful pink chinaware. Honestly, my heart skipped a beat! 🥰
My performance at the fair was a resounding success, as always! The crowds cheered, the children giggled, and I even had a chat with a sweet little girl who said she wants to be a drag queen when she grows up! Now, isn't that lovely? 💖 The best part? They even gave me a pink trophy for "Most Glamorous Performer"! I'll cherish it forever, darlings. It sits pride of place on my dresser, surrounded by sparkly butterflies and pink flamingoes. 🦩
I had so much fun interacting with the friendly folks of Wellingborough. It reminds me why I do what I do, why I share my love for pink and my passion for performing. It's all about spreading joy, spreading a bit of glitter and sparkle, and of course, reminding everyone that it's okay to be yourself, to embrace your inner sparkle, no matter what your colour, your shape, or your dream! ✨

You see, before I discovered my passion for drag, I was just a humble scientist. Yes, darling, by day, I analyse fabrics in a lab. But by night?
