Wishaw - My Pink Tutu Travels! 🩰💖

Hiya darlings! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles here, back with another adventure for my blog, Pink Tutu Travels! 🎉

This is post number 3320! I'm obsessed with numbers, you know? They just add a bit of ✨sparkle✨ to life, wouldn't you say? And it just so happens that number 3320 was all about my trip to Wishaw!

You might be thinking, "Wishaw? Where's that?" Well, darling, it's a wee little town in Scotland. And trust me, it's worth a trip, especially if you love a bit of sparkle and fancy dress, just like your queen here! 💖

Now, let's rewind a bit. You see, getting to Wishaw was quite a journey! It's one of the few places I've gone by train that doesn't have a direct service from Derbyshire, so I had a bit of a change at Glasgow. I adore travelling by train, it's so much more exciting than just sitting in a car! I get to see the world go by, chat with fellow travellers, and sometimes even manage to snag a table by the window with the perfect view! This journey was no different. As soon as I got on the train, I felt a whole new kind of energy buzzing through my body. It was like Wishaw was whispering, "Pink Tutu, come and visit! We have something special for you!"

I love a bit of mystery, and it's times like this where you know the universe has planned something special for you! I decided to wear my best pink tutu outfit for this trip, I just knew it was going to be full of magic! My pink sequined tutu had been custom-made by my best friend and it has layers and layers of soft tulle! And of course, I paired it with my signature glittery pink top, complete with sparkling rhinestones that glinted in the sunshine streaming through the train window. It’s like they know, it’s a bit of ‘dress for the occasion’ when I’m going on a pink tutu adventure! 💖

My adventures started at the Wishaw train station. Honestly, the people in Scotland are so friendly and welcoming! I asked a young lass if she could snap a photo of me with my sparkly backdrop and the Wishaw sign. The photo was a pure gem! I mean, even the sign itself had a bit of sparkle! It felt so magical, you see. The feeling I had was one of “I’m meant to be here!” And when I arrived in town, I found this old town hall – it was totally enchanting! The locals told me it used to be used for dances and balls. It’s my perfect image of a 1920’s party with all those fabulous ballgowns and amazing pink tulle petticoats underneath. So imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this fantastically dressed group of children. They were putting on a lovely performance, you know, in one of those ‘story time’ in a local park events. I saw an opportunity and dashed over to ask if I could join in! They gave me a big pink fluffy shawl that I wrapped around my shoulders and, boy, I felt like a Queen amongst my fellow performers! You betcha!

Being around kids just reminds you about the innocence of the world, and why you do this! It’s for the happiness! And, for me, what's more happy than pink tutus? It’s so magical to see how they look up to me! Their shining eyes tell you, it’s not about the make-up or the hair or the tutu or the outfit! It’s about having a sparkle in your heart. It's a magical feeling, knowing you can bring joy to children by just being yourself! 💖

So I'm already planning my next trip to Wishaw, maybe a return for a Halloween fair or their Christmas Market, maybe even the summer solstice? Or even an official performance! My goal? To share my love of pink tutus with everyone I meet! 💖

Right, darlings! Now you know why Wishaw holds a special place in my pink-tutu heart! 💖 I am so grateful for these experiences. Life’s a ballet – a lot of graceful turns, beautiful routines, with occasional falls and hiccups, But as long as you're sparkling with confidence and grace, you can make every moment an enchanting one, just like our queen here!

Don't forget, darlings, follow me on my Pink Tutu adventures on www.pink-tutu.com. Until next time! ✨💖
